Colossal Christmas Countdown: 9 Days Until Christmas!

One of the things I love best about the colder months is snuggling up on the couch in front of a warm fire with those I love.  These times are always some of my fonder winter memories and ones that I'll always cherish.  Of course, in order to snuggle properly, you must make sure you have the ideal snuggling equipment.  This is where a company called Minky Couture comes in. I absolutely adored the colors and patterns used in the Minky Couture Brooke Blanket.  This princely designed blanket had a black and white baroque minky side and a red swirl minky side finished with a solid black ruffle trim.  I thought this blanket was gorgeous and couldn't wait to untie the bow wrapped around it and see more!

There is just no way to describe for you how soft and comfortable this blanket is.  The best way for me to illustrate it is to think of a baby blanket.  When Riley was first born, I couldn't get over how very soft all of her blankets were.  They were composed of an extremely downy material that was just heavenly.

Next, I decided to gather Riley up and watch A Charlie Brown Christmas with her.  Riley didn't object to sitting on my lap throughout the entire show while we snuggled together under our Minky Couture blanket.  We laughed and talked about the show and I definitely felt we made a warm, holiday memory together.

The blanket surprised me with its heft, for it felt heavier and thicker than I thought it would.  This was perfect for it managed to keep us warm and toasty throughout the show.  It certainly passed the Cleaver family snuggle test with flying colors!  :)
