No one can deny the brave contributions that our active military and veterans have made for each and every one of us.  This Veterans Day, Dollar General is rolling out the red carpet for our troops and giving us all plenty of great ways to show our appreciation!

First, every Dollar General store will be offering a 10% Dollar General's Veteran's Day discount on Saturday 11/11 to all veterans, active military and their families - no coupon necessary.

Second, this 10% discount will also be available to each and every one of us online in order to celebrate Veterans Day.  Simply use coupon code "VETERANSDAY" at checkout.

Next, Dollar General is offering everyone a wonderful way to graciously thank our active duty personnel by sending them a $20 or $30 care package which includes items such as toothbrushes, shampoo and eye drops, as well as some candy and nuts.  Dollar General will even ship these care packages absolutely FREE to any valid US or military address provided.

Finally, visit the Dollar General Facebook page to record and upload a video with a brief message.  Dollar General will be featuring these videos as a unique and special way to say thanks to our well-deserving troops.

This Veterans Day, take the time to honor the brave men and women who have sacrificed so much for our country.  It's the least we can do to say thank you!
