Something About SilverIn my opinion, there are few items more valuable than personalized jewelry.  Now these pieces don't necessarily represent a lot monetarily, but the memories, feelings and love behind each of these items is what makes them priceless.

Sterling silver jewelry is definitely my favorite because it looks amazing, is affordable and goes well with anything.  Something About Silver not only has an amazing selection of unique silver jewelry, they have found breathtaking ways to personalize each one.  I recently had the chance to review 3 stacking rings from this company.  Keep reading to see them up close and find out how I made each ring represent the most important things in my life.

I reviewed the Stacking Rings from Something About Silver, which retail for $32.00 each.

One Step AheadI love the brisk weather of winter.  Here in Houston, I revel in the days of cooler temperatures since they seem to be gone before I know it.  My daughter also enjoys the cold and always wants to go outside and play during the winter, no matter how low the temperature drops.

Of course, us moms have been bundling our little ones up since the dawn of time and are known for the infamous phrase, "Wear your sweater!"  That's why I was thrilled to learn of the new Cozy Cub collection from One Step Ahead.  This line of kids' clothing and accessories will keep your child warm and snuggly whether out in the rain, sleet or snow.  I recently had the chance to review the Kids 3-in-1 Snow Jacket and Snow Pants.  Keep reading to learn more!

I reviewed the following two items from One Step Ahead:

Kids 3-in-1 Snow Jacket, which retails for $59.95

Kids Snow Pants/Snow Bibs with Adjustable Hem, which retails for $49.95

Elite SerumWith each and every candle that's placed on my birthday cake, I tend to look closer and closer in the mirror at myself, noticing those little signs of aging popping up overnight.  I've had a strict skin care regimen for as long as I can remember so I think my skin looks pretty good for my age so far.

Unfortunately, I've never been able to find anything that can help shoo away the signs of aging which are steadily creeping in around my eyes.  Dark circles, puffiness and fine lines and wrinkles all add years to my face and I desperately need a solution.  When I learned about the powerful eye treatment from Elite Serum, I was beyond intrigued...and a tad optimistic.

I reviewed the Elite Serum Eye Serum which retails for $89.95.

Learning ResourcesMy daughter is at an exciting age where her math and language skills seem to be growing by leaps and bounds.  She attends preschool now three days a week and is becoming more and more ready to attend school full time.  Of course, making sure that she is adequately prepared is always at the top of my list, since school is so much more fun when it's not a struggle.

Thankfully, Learning Resources has a super solution to developing those crucial early preschool skills that is both interactive and fun.  Keep reading to see how the Pop Games Bundle might just send your little one to the head of their class!

I reviewed the Preschool Pop Games Bundle from Learning Resources which retails for $37.99.

RoominateHave you ever noticed that most toys on the market today which are geared toward science and technology are what I would call "for boys"?  Construction sets frequently allow for building bridges and skyscrapers and anything electronic usually revolves around cars and robots.

No wonder only 15% of female first-year college students intend to major in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) and less than 11% of engineers are women.  Personally, science has always been a love of mine and since I have a Bachelors of Science in Genetics and am also the mother to a super smart little 4-year-old girl, I pass along my love of the subject to my daughter every chance I get.

That's why I was thrilled to learn of the Roominate line of toys.  These toys are designed to bring STEM to little girls in a way that's actually enjoyable FOR THEM.  Just think of how fun it would be to actually design and build your own dollhouse from the ground up?

I reviewed The Original Roominate Kit from Maykah Inc., which retails for $59.00.

KeurigWe've all been there before...kids screaming like a bunch of banshees, dishes overflowing in the sink, a neverending shopping list and dinner that needs to be made.  Sometimes this happens once in a while, but for most of us, hectic situations like these are an everyday occurrence.

A quick recharge of your batteries is definitely in order so that you can get back to being super woman again, but how do you relax best?  For me, even when I'm relaxing, I like to receive a quick resurgence of energy so that I can successfully tackle everything that needs to be done once my break is over.

That's right, I'm talking about my best friend coffee!  :coffee:  It's no wonder "coffee breaks" have been around for so long.  They are truly a great way to unwind.  But have you ever thought about what coffee you're using during your stint of "me time"?
