Normally, I post a WordLESS Wednesday every once in a while, but this week, I just knew I had a mouthful to say, thus calling for a full-blown WordFUL Wednesday!

I guess I'm guilty of falling into America's newest pastime: celebrity watching.  So when I found a site which promised to find my closest celebrity look-alike for FREE from just a simple photo, I couldn't resist.  I quickly discovered that some things are better left unknown...

First, I thought I'd use my family's most current photo...our Christmas card picture to serve as the source of our faces.  Next, I went to the free celebrity look-alike generator at http://celebrity.picadilo.com/ and uploaded our photo.  Here's the results returned for me:

At first, I was happy with my look-alike, Kate Winslet, though honestly I don't see the resemblance at all.  I liked the Elizabeth Shue match much better and could almost flatter myself into believing I somewhat looked like her, but then I took a closer look...most all of these ladies are much older than I am and HEY!  How did Madeleine Albright get in there?!?

Okay, I had to put this celebrity look-alike generator to the real test...I chose a different photo taken just a month or two ago.  Boy, was that a REAL mistake!

If I thought the first crew of gals was bad, I was in a for a real shocker when the next batch of look-alikes came up and they were almost 50% MEN!  I'm assuming the baseball cap in my picture threw things off a bit, but believe me, it's no boost to the 'ol self-esteem when #3 on your look-alike list is Jon Voight!  I just kept telling myself that half of Angelina Jolie is Jon Voight, right?

The only upside to this list is that Olivia Newton-John was somehow included and I think she's absolutely awesome!  Unfortunately, being told that I resembled John Lithgow and Pedro Almodovar before Olivia kind of killed any hoopla about her making the list.

So now, I was off to test the rest of my brood.  If this celebrity look-alike generator has any sort of accuracy to it, then my daughter and I should share a few of the same peeps.  Here's Riley's results:

GASP!  Oh no!  Not only do my daughter and I share some of the same exact people, half of her look-alikes were men!  And the two people she resembles the most is John Malkovich and Meryl Streep!  Pesky Jon Voight and Madeleine Albright somehow snuck in on Riley's profile as well...along with David Beckham (SWEET)!  :awe:

Last, but not least, was my husband, Michael.  Now everyone tells him that he looks like Sean Penn (and Dale Earnhardt, Jr.), so honestly, I was expecting one of these two to be #1 on Michael's list, but they weren't:

Tom Cruise...Roger Federer?  These were definite surprises!  I can sort-of see the Matt Dillon, though I never noticed that before, but the rest were completely off-base in my opinion.  I totally LOVE though that Frank Stallone made his list...and unlike both Riley and me, he didn't get compared to several people of a different gender!

So, now it's your turn!  If you're brave enough to compare yourselves to the stars, head on over to http://celebrity.picadilo.com/ and find out who you and your family resemble the most.

Then please come back here and tell me all about it!

I'm a former 7th grade Science teacher turned stay-at-home mom that lives in Houston, Texas. I am married to my college sweetheart and have a beautiful daughter named Riley, who definitely keeps me on my toes! I am also involved in starting a small business which would both manufacture and sell an invention that I've patented, called Toothpaste 2 Go. I love interacting with my readers and hope to learn as much about you as you learn about me!
