Wordless Wednesday ~ Keeping Her Diaper On By ANY MEANS NECESSARY! :)

Rate this post

Okay, Riley has now entered the phase where she wants to sleep without her diaper.  Only problem is...SHE'S NOT POTTY TRAINED YET!  I'm afraid that I have cleaned up poop and pee during the night for the last time and have resorted to this!

Anyone have any other ideas?  :)

    • Oh good! Then at least I'm not alone on this one! I felt kind of like Tim "the Toolman" Taylor when I was strapping her diaper on her! :)

  • LMAO I HAVE THE SAME PICS OF MY DAUGHTER..it only worked for a little bit then she learned if she pulled it would get loose enough to slide off. Good luck =)

    • Oh no! You're so right...I bet it won't be long until she figures that out too...back to the drawing board! :) Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

  • I saw one mom made her child a sleep sack. The zipper was in the back with a couple of snap flaps over the top of the zipper area, each one going in opposite directions. The arm holes were not real big so the child couldn't pull the arms back in and down inside to get the diaper off.
I don't think you idea is to bad either and I hope it keeps working.
    Whatever it takes, right?

    • Hi Lauralee,

Thanks so much for the suggestion about the sleep sack with the zipper in the back! Sounds like a great idea and a more elegant solution than duct tape! I'll have to be on the lookout for those! Have a great day! :)

  • We used to do tape until I realized how convenient it would be to just cut the feet off footy jammies and put them on backwards. Just cut off the tag and voila, you have a sack that costs about 10 bucks for 3 @ wal-mart or a place like it! The necks are scooped enough in back that it falls perfectly.

I cut them just below the elastic, you could even sew them back on the opposite direction if you wanted.
