As a first-time mommy, I admit that I haven't taken Riley too many places. I think we've only stayed overnight with her somewhere other than our home maybe once or twice. The reason? Frankly, I'm scared to death of the responsibility and of all the gear and planning it takes to travel somewhere with a child. Her father and I go plenty of places with her during the day, but always return to the comfort and predictability of our home at night.
If only I would have know about BabySafeTravel.com sooner, I might have been tempted to change my ways! This is a terrific website centered in every way around traveling with your baby. You can book trips here and easily search for family friendly hotels as well as read plenty of reviews from other families. There are also a bunch of savvy traveling tips for infants, crawlers, walkers and even multiples which are sure to enlighten you and make your trip a lot easier.
For instance, I never knew that doctors can actually prescribe ear-numbing drops for your baby which will ease their discomfort due to air pressure changes while flying in an airplane. This is one of the multitude of helpful tips on BabySafeTravel.com which will inspire you to visit the four corners of the Earth with your little one!
One of my favorite sections of this site is the Baby Boutique part. Here you can browse all products specifically made for traveling with your child. I found so many quality products here that I never knew existed. As a matter of fact, I bought a pair of Ear Muffs from Baby Banz, which I plan to use with Riley on the Fourth of July next year. This way, the loud pops and booms won't spoil her fireworks fun!
So as you can see, if you are a parent of a small child or children, I think you will find BabySafeTravel.com an invaluable resource for traveling with your baby. They offer a ton of helpful tips, reviews and products so that you won't hold back like I did and let your baby experience the world with you!
