SKILBelieve it or not, I'm actually quite a handy gal.  I get great enjoyment from building and creating things with my own two hands and have learned long ago that using amazing tools always makes a project more enjoyable.

For me, a screwdriver is one such tool that I absolutely cannot be without.  Whether I'm assembling a book shelf or building a raised garden bed, it seems that I've always got a screwdriver by my side.  Unfortunately, I don't have the hand strength required to screw anything in manually and have always relied on a quality cordless screwdriver to make my project fly by.

SKIL has been providing quality tools since 1924 and has created the best cordless screwdriver to help support the cure.  Keep reading to learn more!

I reviewed the Limited Edition Pink iXO 2354-04 Cordless Screwdriver from SKIL which retails for $39.99.
SKIL is donating 10% of every sale of the Pink iXO Cordless Screwdriver to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Support Susan G. Komen for the Cure with the Best Cordless Screwdriver from SKIL

SKIL has joined efforts with Susan G. Komen for the Cure to help further the world's support to finding the cure for breast cancer. From August-December 2012, 10% of the unit price for every pink iXO sold will benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure. SKIL is proud to donate a minimum of $100,000 towards the cause.

The screwdriver's relatively low speed of 200 RPM results in higher torque and more efficient driving. The low speed also provides more control to prevent screws from being stripped and work surfaces from being damaged. The tool's magnetic bit holder accepts any 1/4-inch hex bit.

SKIL iXO Cordless ScrewdriverThe SKIL 2354-04 iXO 4-volt palm-sized screwdriver is a handy tool to have around, whether you're a homeowner or a college student. Designed to fit in the palm of your hand, this lightweight tool delivers up to 4-volts of power and has a run time that's 20 percent longer than that of SKIL’s previous model (the 2346-05).

Ideal around the house, this powerful cordless screwdriver offers 4 volts of maximum power and high torque for greater efficiency. Indicators on top of the screwdriver show your drilling direction, while an LED SiteLight illuminates your work space. Other highlights include a rubberized handle and a lithium-ion power battery that holds a charge for up to 18 months.

I really enjoyed using the Limited Edition Pink iXO Cordless Screwdriver for common tasks around my home.  It has plenty of power, fits well in my hand, is very lightweight and has 5 different bits (3 Phillips heads and 2 flat heads) to use for almost any project.  I also loved the LED SiteLight which makes working in tight spaces or dark areas, such as under the sink or inside cabinets, an absolute breeze.

Of course, I also appreciate when companies take the time to use the sale of their products to support a worthy cause, such as the Susan G. Komen for the Cure.  Breast cancer is a disease which has had a profound impact on my family's life and it makes me feel good to be able to buy a top-quality cordless screwdriver from SKIL and support a worthwhile cause at the same time.

If you're searching for a meaningful, yet practical present for the do-it-yourself-er on your Christmas list this year, then be sure to pick up the best cordless screwdriver and support the cure!
