Brother P-TouchI have to admit something here and now:  I'm a bona fide organizational junkie!  When I was a teacher, my friends always joked about how each and every thing in my classroom was labeled and organized to perfection.  I'm proud of the way my home and every office I've ever worked at has looked, though admittedly, my organizational skills seemed to have finally met their match with one high-traffic room in my house.

The pantry in our home has grown to be the bane of my existence.  It's a great room, though because we have too few closets or too much stuff, it has taken on the job of holding much more than just our food.  Extra food related items, like serving trays, popsicle makers, etc. are housed right along with our cleaning supplies, mop buckets, dog food, tubs of food storage supplies and much more.  No matter how many times I take everything out and reorganize the entire area, it never stays spic and span for long.

You see, my husband is quite the clutter bug and he never seems to "get" my organizational system for the pantry.  This means that he just puts things in there all willy-nilly and before long, the pantry is back to being a cluttered disaster area once again.  That's why I was so excited to be chosen as a Brother P-Touch Ambassador.  With the help of a Brother P-Touch label maker, I'm going to take on the challenge of organizing my home's pantry once and for all.  That way, every family member will know exactly where each and every type of item goes and our pantry can remain neat as a pin.

Ready to see the horrible current condition of my pantry:  READ ON IF YOU DARE!

Pantry Before

Now THIS is the definition of cluttered, in my opinion.  There's stuff everywhere and though I've tried to sort most items by type and use in clear plastic tubs, it's still hard to see exactly what is located where.  Thanks to the Brother P-Touch PT-D200, I hope to turn all of this disorganization into a hub of practicality.  Not only does the Brother P-Touch PT-D200 print basic labels, it has the capacity to use the large TZe labeling tape as well as print in different fonts, styles and icons.

Custom labels have never been easier to create or quicker to use.  You can even store up to 30 of your favorite labels in the included memory of this machine for organization at your fingertips.  I know I need help when I admit that I can't hardly wait to get started tackling the pantry!   The Brother P-Touch label makers are this organizational junkie's idea of heavenly bliss!  Stay tuned to see the complete transformation in a later post.
