If your child is a fan of Franklin, the lovable turtle, from the popular animated children's television series and Franklin the Turtle books, then they will love the latest edition to the Franklin family.  Watch More TV Interactive has designed an educational and wonderfully entertaining app called Franklin's Bumpy Buggy.  This app is available for $1.99 in the Apple App Store and is fully compatible with the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad devices.

This app is a terrific compliment to the Franklin series and offers children a unique and enjoyable way to experience and play with the friendly characters they already know and love.  Download Franklin's Bumpy Buggy and then choose one of six carts related to characters from the Franklin series. Next, you'll be racing that cart against another character using the directional controls along the left side of the screen, as well as the jump button on the right.

The goal is to reach the finish line first, scoring as many points as possible by obtaining speed boosts, jumping puddles, looping through the loop-de-loops, etc.  This game is a fun concept and very addicting and while it is a children's game, at times, it can actually be quite challenging.  There are 10 included levels to race through, though due to the difficultly level, at times might frustrate younger children.

If your child is a fan of Franklin, or if you’d just like an inexpensive yet quality app to keep your little one entertained, I highly recommend giving Franklin's Bumpy Buggy a try.
