Girls4SportSummertime is for relaxing and enjoying the outdoors, but it is also a season of warm temperatures where less clothing is definitely more.  I like to stock my summer wardrobe with versatile pieces that look great and are comfortable to wear no matter where my day might take me: to the beach, the pool, riding my bike around the neighborhood or even enjoying a game of golf.

Girls4Sport creates a line of clothing that not only keeps you looking and feeling cool, it also offers excellent protection from the sun's harmful rays.  Recently, I had the chance to review a pair of snag-free boardshorts.  Keep reading to learn more!

I reviewed the Snag-Free Board Short Long in Navy from Girls4Sport, which retails for $53.25.

Girls4Sport is a brand designed by women for women.  Born in Santa Cruz, California on a bright spring day, the Girls4Sport women asked, "Why not make innovative athletic clothing specifically designed for the female form? Fresh, fun, feminine clothing for every "girl", no matter her age?"

No other athletic wear and sun protection has ever made you look and feel as good!  Swim, surf and sail knowing your pretty skin is covered by soft fabrics. Girls4Sport tested fabrics are rated at the maximum of UPF 50+ and block at least 98% of UVA/UVB rays. Do something fun, do something good for you and do something for the girl at heart with Girls4Sport.

Here's a summer must-have: completely snag-free shorts!  That means no Velcro to snag your swimwear (or anything else in your laundry basket).   These snag-free boardshorts contain a nylon lace/tie closure with a flat fly panel made of lycra to keep the fit smooth and comfortable.  They are available with a 9" inseam (3.375", 6", and 11" inseams also available) which are the perfect fit and length for kayaking, kite surfing, beach volleyball and more.  Comfortable, exceptionally soft fabrics are still beautiful and tough as well as quick drying.

I loved the way the Snag-Free Boardshorts Long from Girls4Sport fit and the length was perfect for looking trendy, yet staying comfortable.  I've worn these to the pool several times and sometimes I take them off before going swimming and other times, I just dive right in!  They always dry so quickly, that I don't mind taking them for a dip.  Of course, I really appreciate how these boardshorts offer a UPF rating of 65 and block at least 98% of UVA/UVB rays too.

If you plan on soaking up the summer sun, make sure your skin doesn't do most of the soaking!  I highly suggest the fashionable styles of UV protected clothing from Girls4Sport.  Their stylish patterns and designs of clothing for both women and girls will have you looking and feeling great no matter if you're at a theme park, swimming pool, beach or river.  Protect your skin in style this summer with Girls4Sport!
