I can't believe it's already September! Where exactly did the summer go? I can't say that I'm too sad about it though, since Fall is by far my favorite season of the year! I love everything about Fall, including Halloween! Since we only have a few weeks until Halloween, I started debating on what to dress Riley up like this year.

Now that she can walk and run very well, this will be her first year to actually go trick-or-treating, and I wanted her costume to be loads of fun! Riley absolutely LOVES animals, especially jungle animals, and so what better thing to dress her up like for Halloween, than a lovable tiger named Tigger? Thankfully, Anytime Costumes came to my rescue by carrying a super cute Tigger Deluxe Plush Toddler Costume, which is just perfect for my daughter! Read on to discover what Riley thought of her new costume.

Since Riley was really too young to remember her previous Halloweens, I wasn't sure how she was going to react to dressing up like the friendly and energetic tiger, Tigger. Would she understand that she was just pretending to be Tigger or would she think when she climbed in her tiger costume that Tigger was eating her or something? We really didn't know what to expect, but Riley surprised us all and seemed to understand that this was all just pretend.

Her Deluxe Plush Tigger Costume from Anytime Costumes was really well-made and of a very high quality. The plush material was super soft and the colors of the costume were vibrant.  I loved the detachable tiger tail and the striping on the costume was perfect too.  All of the seams were sewn securely and nothing appeared like it would begin falling apart once the costume was worn. I especially liked how heavy duty the zipper on the back of the costume was as well as the softly padded tummy.

Since the Deluxe Plush Tigger costume is like a big hooded jumpsuit, the zipper is essential to the integrity of the costume. The best part of the costume though, was the large stuffed Tigger face that was on the hood. The ears, nose and head portion of the hood were all padded well so as to look authentic.

This costume was a little hot which is why Riley kept trying to take it off!

The only downside to the Tigger costume was the material that it was made out of, which was 100% polyester.  Unfortunately, the polyester material ensures that this costume isn't going to breathe at all and will be very easy to get hot in. Especially in Texas, where on Halloween the temperature could very well be in the 80's, Riley might easily get overheated wearing this costume. On the other hand, if we happen to have a very cold Halloween, this costume could serve to keep her toasty from head to toe.
