Bover Bags ~ A Chic Way to Carry Your Portable Crib and Much More

If there's one thing that forever changes when you have kids, it's the way you travel!  My husband and I used to take impromptu day trips here and there and could jump in the car at a moment's notice, but not now!

Riley has so much gear and equipment that we need to take to go anywhere that we must prep and plan for about 30 minutes before ever stepping foot outside our door.  One of the necessities we used to bring when she was a baby was her portable playard.  Bover Bags has created a unique and chic way to take your child's portable crib or playard with you while on the go.  Keep reading to find out more!

I reviewed the Georgie Bover Bag from Bover Bags, which retails for $75.00.

Bover Bags are a stylish way to carry any pack 'n' play and are the only portable crib bags of their kind.  They were invented by two frustrated parents packing for a fun beach weekend.  After the playard was dropped several times creating a mess and essential pieces and bedding were accidentally forgotten, they knew there could be a better way to travel and the Bover Bag line was born!

Currently, Bover Bags come in six different patterns and have several features designed to make a top-notch crib bag.  The first thing I noticed right away is the overall durability and quality of the bag itself.  There is a heavy duty shoulder strap which can easily be disconnected if you wish.  This shoulder strap is composed of thick nylon and even has a rubber pad for your shoulder, which makes the bag comfortable to carry.

There is a large narrow pocket on one side of the Bover Bag which is secured with a Velcro flap.  This pocket is designed to hold any poles or rods necessary to assemble your play 'n' pack once you arrive at your destination.  On the other side of the bag is a wider, more square-shaped pocket, also secured with a Velcro flap.  Now you can keep your crib's bedding all together for a quick and easy assembly.

The Bover Bag is also composed of a double-quilted fabric which is lined with a satiny material.  This inner lining makes sliding your playard in and out of the bag extremely simple and also aids in quick cleaning, when necessary.  The great thing is that there are so many uses for the Bover Bag even after your child outgrows their portable crib or playard.

For instance, you could use this bag to quickly and easily carry toys, beach gear like towels and outdoor blankets, extra clothing, laundry or anything else you need to tote.  Personally, my family is always digging around for plastic bags when we travel in order to store our dirty clothes and keep them separate from our other belongings.

Now, with the Bover Bag, I can just pack this empty bag in my suitcase and then fill it up with our dirty clothes as we have them.  Once we get home, I can toss our dirties immediately in the wash along with the bag itself and make that chore a lot easier!

If you have a child that uses a portable crib or playard and are frustrated by how difficult it can be to pack and travel with, then I highly recommend using a Bover Bag.  Once your child outgrows their playard, your Bover Bag will still have a myriad of uses and you'll probably discover that anytime you travel, your Bover Bag will be there too!
