Colossal Christmas Countdown:

12 Days Until Christmas!

Children have the unique ability to live in a world of make-believe and to rely solely on their imagination for entertainment.  I don't know how many times I've watched my daughter magically transform a spoon into a hairbrush, drumstick, microphone and even a pair of scissors in order to cut my hair.

Box Creations is a company which allows your child to create their very own unique and personalized playhouse from a mere piece of cardboard!  I was fortunate enough to review the Medieval Castle cardboard playhouse.  Keep reading to find out more!

I reviewed the Medieval Castle Cardboard Playhouse from Box Creations, which retails for $39.99 and includes FREE SHIPPING.

Box Creations Medieval Castle

When I first saw the selection of cardboard playhouses on the Box Creations website, I couldn't get over how detailed and intricate these playhouses were.  I honestly was expecting more of just a large cardboard box, but these playhouses came complete with cut-outs for windows and doors, pictures and designs drawn on the outer walls and architectural details such as window panes and castle wall arches.

Let's face it, a standard child's playhouse can be quite expensive, usually costing several hundred dollars.  I think that a cardboard playhouse is a very economical solution and one that will bring your child just as much enjoyment and imaginative play.  Box Creations has a ton of cute selections, ranging from a pirate's ship to a princess carriage, and are constantly coming out with new and unique designs.

I absolutely LOVED the preprinted artwork all over the outside of these castle walls, for I think that half the fun in building this cardboard playhouse is the decorating and coloring of it.  That's where children can really let their imagination and creativity shine so as to customize their playhouse in any way they like.  A great idea would be to design a paper flag to fly from the castle tower or to use glitter and glue to write their name on the preprinted banner above the castle door.

Since these cardboard playhouses are designed for children ages 3-7, I decided to wait until Riley was a little bit older to introduce her to the Medieval Castle.  I want her to really be able to decorate this castle and build it with me, but right now, she's just a tad too young.  I know that once she does receive it though, she will absolutely flip for it!

If you're looking for a wonderful way to encourage imaginative play with your child, then I highly recommend any one of the fabulous cardboard playhouse designs from Box Creations.  They have so many inventive and detailed playhouses available that any child would adore!  Because these houses are constructed from white colored cardboard with preprinted artwork on the outside, personalizing them is half the fun.  Delight your child this Christmas with a wonderful cardboard playhouse from Box Creations!
