I reviewed the Contempo Candle Warmer Lamp in Oil Rubbed Bronze and Jamie Clair Fine Fragrance Candle in Sandalwood from Candle Warmers Etc. which retail for $34.99 and $19.99, respectively.

I had the chance to review both the Contempo Candle Warmer Lamp in Oil Rubbed Bronze as well as the Jamie Clair Fine Fragrance Candle in Sandalwood.  The Contempo Candle Warmer Lamp is the newest addition to the candle warming lamp family from Candle Warmers Etc. With an updated modern look, the Contempo Lamp creates the ambiance of a burning candle, warming and releasing the candle's fragrance from the top down within minutes. All Contempo lamps are paired with a frosted white shade.

The highly fragrant scented candles from the Jamie Clair Fine Fragrance collection are hand poured in the USA using only the finest lead-free wicks, soy blend waxes and fragrance oils. Jamie Clair Fine Fragrance Collection candles are filled with true-to-life scents leaving a lasting scent of your favorite fragrance for days.  Currently, they are only available in the 16 oz. size.

I thoroughly enjoyed the amazing scent from the Jamie Clair Fine Fragrance Candle in Sandalwood.  Within seconds after placing it beneath the candle warmer lamp, this extremely aromatic candle had made its presence known.  The earthy, woodsy smell took me back to my days of living in the country before officially becoming a big city girl.

The Contempo Candle Warmer Lamp uses the heat from an NP5 bulb to quickly and safely release a candle's aroma by melting and illuminating the candle from the top down.  By using this method of candle warming, instead of candle burning, you eliminate fire hazards, smoke damage and indoor air pollution.  The Contempo Candle Warmer can effectively accommodate most 12-26 oz. jar candles and is perfect for use in kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms, office cubicles and college dorms.  I have to admit that I wasn't the biggest fan of the Contempo's overall design for it looked a little too modern in my opinion, especially coupled with the frosted glass lamp shade.

If you are searching for a more economical way to enjoy a candle without actually burning it though, I prefer the Candle Warmer Lamps from Candle Warmers Etc.   With these lamps, you don't need to purchase specialized wax cubes, which are necessary for other wickless brands like Scentsy.  You can simply use the jar candles you probably already own and safely enjoy their wonderful aromas.
