Review - Casio Baby-G BLX100 G-LIDE Series Watch in White

Casio Baby-G BLX100 G-LIDE Series WatchNow that spring is here and summer isn't far behind, my mind is already thinking ahead to the fun in the sand and the surf that is soon to come!  Summertime is great for numerous outdoor activities, such as backyard barbecues, going to the beach and hitting the local pool.

Of course, I need a watch that will be able to keep up with me while I'm on the go, which is why Casio designed the Baby-G's new G-LIDE Series of watches.  These marine-inspired timepieces are fashionably versatile and offer water resistance to 200 meters.  Keep reading to learn more about Casio's newest trend for the spring/summer season!

I reviewed the Baby-G BLX100 G-LIDE Series Watch in White from Casio, which retails for $89.00, but is currently on sale for $74.65 with FREE SHIPPING.

Casio Baby-G BLX100 G-LIDE Series Watch

The Casio Baby-G BLX100 G-LIDE Series Watch is a tide graph watch, perfect for any surfers out there who need to automatically keep up with the changing tides.  This watch is also water resistant to 200 meters, shock resistant and offers a whole host of other remarkable features, such as world time display, alarm, countdown timer and a stopwatch.  All of these options are readily displayed in the circular graph area on the watch's face, so as to easily keep up with what features are enabled.

I especially like the alarm feature, for the Casio Baby-G BLX100 allows you to set a daily alarm time, date alarm, 1-month alarm or even a monthly alarm.  This watch even has a flash alert where the illumination flashes for the alarms, instead of only an audible chime.  This ensures that no one else around you is disturbed when the alarm on your watch goes off.  I also really like the countdown timer, which is perfect for when Riley needs to do a "time-out" while we're away from home.

The Casio BLX100 offers an electro-luminescent panel that causes the entire display to glow for easy reading in the dark.  Simply press the "G" button on the face of the watch to activate this feature.

I also love how sporty the Casio Baby-G BLX100 G-LIDE Series watch looks as well as how comfortable the white resin band is.  I'm especially thrilled that Casio thought to give this watch an entirely white design!  Spring and summer are the seasons where white sandals, shorts, capris, skirts and shirts reign supreme and I'm happy to know that the Casio Baby-G BLX100 watch will look stylish and fashionable with all of my spring and summer outfits.

If you are in the market for a high-quality timepiece which is guaranteed to be durable, fashionable and hosts a wide variety of unique features, then the Casio Baby-G BLX100 G-LIDE Series watch in white is definitely the one you've been looking for!
