Cellies Arm CandyA mom can never have enough hands it seems.  Simple, ordinary tasks become a daring, new adventure once kids are involved, and so I really appreciate any product which can help me effectively multitask.  Cellies Arm Candi for Your Cell from Andrea Behar is a stylish arm band which also houses your iPhone, iPod Touch or Blackberry, so that it is always within "arm's reach"!  (Pun Intended!  :))

Being able to instantly locate my phone would definitely help me be more organized while out and about, and stop fumbling through my purse or baby bag every time my phone rings.  Keep reading to learn more about Cellies!

I reviewed the Cellies Arm Candi for Your Cell in Black from Andrea Behar, which retails for $35.00.

Cellies Arm Candi for Your Cell

Cellies is composed of a stretchy mesh material which is worn like a bracelet and holds your iPhone, iPod Touch or Blackberry on one side.  The other side contains a myriad of studded detailing which instantly adds a funky urban touch to the Cellies wrist band.

Although the Cellies Arm Candi for Your Cell definitely held my iPhone securely, there were several things I didn't care for about this product.  First, the Cellies wrist band is one size fits all and it was too big for me.  I have a very small wrist and found that the stretchy material of the Cellies bracelet was simply too loose.

This caused the Cellies to spin around on my wrist with the added weight of my iPhone and it didn't feel comfortable or secure due to its ill fit.  I wouldn't recommend this product for tweens or those with smaller wrists.  I'm also afraid that those with larger wrists might find this bracelet uncomfortably tight.

Next, the mesh fabric is hard to see through when trying to operate your device.  I was able to use the touchscreen without a problem, but unfortunately, I couldn't read the screen at all.  If I didn't already know exactly what I was trying to do on the screen, I would have to take the iPhone out of the Cellies in order to do anything besides simply answering a phone call.  I wish that the phone's screen could have been viewed through a clear piece of plastic versus the mesh material so that the touchscreen could be seen easily.

Cellies Arm Candi for Your Cell

I do think this is a terrific carrier if you only plan on answering your phone or listening to music, without trying to use the phone's screen much.  For instance, I plan on using the Cellies quite often with my iPod Touch when running or working out.  You can also use Cellies to carry your credit cards, identification, folding money, lip gloss, etc., in a discreet and stylish way.  I wish I would have had one of these back in my single days when I didn't want to keep up with my purse while at the club.

So, as you can see, I have mixed feelings about the Cellies Arm Candi for Your Cell bracelet.  If you have very large or very small wrists, the one size fits all style might not be for you.  Also, if you plan to use your iPhone or Blackberry extensively while wearing the Cellies wrist band, I'm afraid that the mesh material might make this difficult.

However, if you are only wanting to listen to music or answer your phone if someone calls and want your device available quickly, then I would recommend purchasing a Cellie.  Also, if you want a wonderfully stylish and discreet way to carry your credit cards, money or ID, without needing to lug around a purse, then Cellies might just be the answer you've been searching for!
