I reviewed the Preakness Riding Rain Boot from Chooka, which retails for $100.00, but is currently on sale for $89.95 with FREE SHIPPING.

Chooka Preakness Riding Rain Boots

The Preakness Riding Rain Boot is a shoe composed entirely of rubber for maximum water resistance.  It also contains a moisture absorbent cotton lining and removable insole.  The detailing of this boot is absolutely gorgeous and contains the classic belt buckle enclosure on both the lower part of the boot as well as two more buckles on the uppermost part of the boot, which accentuates the calf.  I also love how the Preakness combines both brown and black, making it extremely versatile and able to pair with most any outfit.

I wore the Chooka Preakness Riding Rain Boots coupled with a shorter black skirt and thought that they looked sensational with it.  The beauty of these rain boots is that they are so well made and so well-designed, that you would never even guess that they were rain boots at all!  Not one person said anything to me about wearing these boots when it wasn't raining.  The forecast that day had called for rain, but the rain never came.  Oh well...they were fun to wear anyway!

The only criticism I have of the Preakness rain boots is that the soles of these boots have tiny treads on them, which actually don't do much for the traction, especially on a wet surface.  I was hoping that they wouldn't be so slick, so that I wouldn't accidentally slip in wet conditions, but I found myself slipping while walking on our tile floor once or twice.  I noticed though that the other rain boots from Chooka have the heavy treaded outsole with thicker ridges, which would definitely grip the floor better.

Other than that, I couldn't be happier with the Chooka Preakness Riding Rain Boots I reviewed.  They are extremely durable and well-made and have a sense of style that's hard to beat.  There's no doubt that these boots will jazz up my outfits, come rain or shine.  If you want to embrace the upcoming summer rains, then check out all of the trendy selections of rain boots from Chooka.  Their fashionable rain boots have me praying for sudden showers, just so I can go splash about in style!
