My daughter loves building toys of all kinds and comes up with some rather imaginative creations, especially as she continues to grow.  Of course, I love encouraging her creativity and problem-solving skills with toys like this, which also help keep her away from the endless distractions that television and computers often bring.

Generally, we loved this building toy from Learning Resources, though there was one snag we ran into a few times.  The pieces of the Candy Construction Building Set are made from a durable plastic, but because of this, the fit between parts isn't always ideal.

Sometimes it took some muscle to wedge certain pieces together and other times, the structures we built fell apart a little too easily.  My daughter, who's just 3.5 years old, found her inadequate patience level tested a few times because of this.

Other than that, I highly recommend the Learning Resources Candy Construction Building Set.  My daughter greatly enjoys this toy and spends hours creating anything and everything her little heart desires.  If you're looking for a thoroughly "sweet" way to build and play, then be sure to check this construction set out!
