Magic CabinWith Halloween right around the corner, you may be thinking about what your little ghoul or goblin will be dressing up like this year.  The fact is, Halloween costumes can be quite expensive, especially if they are only going to be worn for one night.

That's why this year, Riley will be wearing a costume that she can get plenty of use out of, because it is really one of the many dress-up costumes carried by Magic Cabin.  Keep reading to learn more about how to maximize the value of your Halloween costume dollars this year!

I reviewed the Fairy Princess Dress in Purple from Magic Cabin, which retails for $49.98.

Magic Cabin Fairy Princess Dress

Your little princess will look and feel like a magical fairy in this Fairy Princess Dress from Magic Cabin.  Use the finger loops to extend the wings or keep fingers out so wings hang behind like a small train.  Perfect for a Halloween costume or year round dress-up play.  This costume is designed in Germany, made in Bali and designed for girls ages 3 to 6 years old.

  • Elastic bodice has straps
  • Wings are attached to bodice
  • Finger loops extend the wings for fluttering

Riley absolutely adored the fairy princess dress in purple from Magic Cabin.  I told her this was her official uniform for being a "butterfly fairy" and she told me that it was so beautiful!  Because it is a dress-up costume designed for young children, Riley could actually put this costume on or take it off all by herself, unlike most of the more difficult and intricate Halloween costumes I've seen.

The elastic, gathered bodice had quite a bit of stretch to it, so I know that Riley will be able to wear this costume for at least a year or two.  The bright butterfly detailing on the front of the dress really stands out well against the darker purple color of the dress itself.  Magic Cabin hit a home run with the Fairy Princess Dress costume, for they designed it with little girls in mind.

It has plenty of sparkle and glitz, thanks to the glitter and sequin detailing on the wings, as well as the sequins at the bottom of the dress.  Because the bottom of the dress is composed of light and airy tulle, little girls can twirl and dance to their hearts' delight and the dress will float and twirl magically back.

Riley pranced, danced, fluttered and ran about the house for hours while wearing this costume.  The great thing is, it is versatile enough for play at home, but can also serve as a kid-friendly costume for several other occasions.  For instance, we're also planning on dressing her up with flowers, jewelry, ballet shoes and a dab of lip gloss and eye shadow so that she can wear this costume for both Halloween and when we take her to the Renaissance Festival later this year.  A costume that can be worn for more than one occasion AND still serve as a dress-up toy for the rest of the year?  Now that's value!

If you'd like to provide your child with a well-made classic costume which can serve as a dress-up toy long after Halloween has passed, then I highly recommend some of the imaginative selections at Magic Cabin.  I'm sure your little girl will love the Fairy Princess Dress just as much as mine does!  :awe:
