Colossal Christmas Countdown:

43 Days Until Christmas!

In this economy and especially since becoming a stay-at-home mom, I am always trying to save money whenever and wherever I can.  Of course this means carrying a ton of coupons, gift cards, restaurant and store discount cards, etc.  I've always had trouble trying to keep my purse and my wallet from busting at the seams from all of these money-saving items, much less actually staying organized too.

Now, Savvycents has created an ingenious wallet designed to help you organize all of your coupons and discount cards in one place right alongside your ID, credit cards and checkbook.  Keep reading to learn more about it!

I reviewed the Pink Patent Leather Wallet from Savvycents, which retails for $24.99.

I couldn't wait to explore all of the pockets and compartments contained in the Savvycents pink patent leather wallet I received.  I am notorious for having way too many things in my wallet and can hardly ever find anything when I need to get to it quickly.  With the Savvycents wallet, you can utilize their unique labeled filing system to keep all of your money-saving coupons and discount cards organized and at the ready.

This wallet is 8" x 4" and is secured by a full-length zipper which wraps around the entire outside of the wallet.  I really like a zippered enclosure, for it will ensure that nothing from your wallet will fall out.  I've had so many billfolds which have a snap closure that constantly comes unsnapped while in my purse.  This is such a pain for a lot of times I find my entire billfold dumped out inside my purse.

The Savvycents wallet has six pockets on one side designed to hold your favorite credit / debit / store cards as well as a large pocket behind those pockets where your folding money will go.  On the other side, there are two see-through pockets perfect for storing any two IDs.  Behind these pockets is the accordion file system, which comes complete with 5 divider tabs and preprinted / blank labels.  There is also a zippered pocket on the very outside of the wallet designed to function as a change purse.

Since this is a wide wallet, you can easily file away coupons while gift cards and store discount cards can even fit side-by-side in the large accordion pockets.  This doubles your storage space of these items, which is perfect for me, since these are the things that tend to overflow my wallet.

I think the Savvycents wallet is a wonderfully designed wallet, but I wasn't able to figure out exactly where my checkbook was supposed to fit in.  There was a tab in the center of the wallet which will hold a pen, and the description on their website claims that a checkbook is supposed to be stored inside, but I just couldn't figure out where.  My only criticism of this wallet would have to be that, in my opinion, I don't think a checkbook will fit inside conveniently.

If you are shopping for a budget-conscious gal this holiday season or if you yourself are in need of a purse makeover, then I would recommend giving the Savvycents wallet a try.  This might be just what you need to help carry a lot more coupons while keeping you organized, which can save you even more money and help this wallet virtually pay for itself!
