Start to Finish EntertainmentI have to admit that both Michael and I are pretty strict when it comes to Riley and her television viewing.  We don't let her watch much TV at all and when we do, it has to be age-appropriate, educational and rather slow-moving (without lots of rapidly changing images, flashing graphics, etc.)

So, when I was presented with the chance to review the new Start to Finish children's educational video, based on the concept of showing children how things are done from start to finish, I admit I was a little skeptical.  Boy, was I pleasantly surprised!

Keep reading to learn more about one of the best children's educational DVDs I've ever seen: Start to Finish Starring Whoops and Bubbs!

I reviewed the Start to Finish Starring Whoops and Bubbs DVD, from Start to Finish Entertainment, which retails for $12.99.

Start to Finish Starring Whoops and Bubbs Children's Educational DVDStart to Finish Starring Whoops and Bubbs is a fun-filled DVD that teaches children that everything in their world has a start and a finish.  Your child will learn how milk is made, how firefighters put out fires and how both pizza and applesauce are made.  This four-part educational series is hosted by two fun-loving friends, Whoops and Bubbs who bring to life the curiosity and humor children will adore.  Bright colors, engaging narration as well as laugh out loud silliness make learning concepts fun!

After watching this video with my daughter, I have nothing but great comments to say about it.  This children's video was extremely well-done and reminded me of a cross between Sesame Street and Bill Nye the Science Guy.  It is designed for children ages 2 to 7 years old and runs a total of 50 minutes.  My daughter was thoroughly riveted to each and every one of the four vignettes and I thought that the subject matter was extremely relevant to the life of a toddler or preschooler.

Whoops and Bubbs are two fun-loving characters who introduce each video segment as well as wrap up the ending, but the main component of this video is the real life footage from the field.  For instance, children will get to see first-hand how cows are milked, plastic milk jugs are made and milk gets shipped to their grocery stores.  The video footage is filmed in a way that's easy to understand and yet holds a child's attention thoroughly.

I thought that this video was the perfect combination of substance and entertainment and wholeheartedly recommend it for your own children.  This is my daughter's new favorite video and I have to admit that it's mine too!  Get ready to giggle while you learn how people work together and create some of your favorite things from Start to Finish!
