Stonyfield Organic YoKidsIn my house, eating yogurt is a way of life.  My daughter's been enjoying it ever since she first started eating solid foods and my husband and I start our day with it most every morning.  I love the nutritional benefits and live cultures that come from eating yogurt consistently, but I was never too thrilled about the sugar content or the taste of regular yogurt.

That's why I was delighted to discover Greek yogurt!  It has a taste I love and more nutritional value than regular yogurt.  I eat a Stonyfield Organic OIKOS Greek blueberry yogurt cup every morning for breakfast and many times my daughter joins in too.  So when Stonyfield Farm released a brand new product to the YoKids family, YoKids Greek yogurt, I just couldn't wait to give it a try.  Keep reading to learn more!

Stonyfield Organic YoKids Greek Raspberry Yogurt Stonyfield Organic YoKids Greek Strawberry Yogurt

Organic yogurt in general used to be fairly hard to come by, but Stonyfield Farm, the world’s largest organic yogurt maker, changed all that.  Now, Stonyfield is changing things again by introducing YoKids Greek Yogurt, the first organic Greek yogurt made specifically for kids.  Stonyfield YoKids Greek yogurt doesn't contain the sour tang that traditional Greek yogurt is famous for, yet it's still packed with nutritional value.

I just knew Riley would love either of the YoKids Greek Yogurt flavors, since she already is accustomed to the typical Greek yogurt flavor of my Stonyfield Organic OIKOS Greek blueberry yogurt.  I was right!  She gobbled up the 4 oz. cup of raspberry Greek yogurt in no time flat.  One thing I hadn't considered though was how much easier YoKids Greek Yogurt would be for her to eat, since it has a much thicker consistency over traditional yogurt.  We didn't have any instances of yogurt sliding off the spoon and there was zero mess!

I'm also delighted to know that Riley is not only eating a product that tastes great, but is also extremely healthy for her growing body.  One container of YoKids Greek Yogurt contains just 100 calories, 1 gram of fat, 300 milligrams of Potassium and a whopping 6 grams of protein, along with 20% of your child's daily amount of both Calcium and Vitamin D.  Of course, you're also getting plenty of live active cultures which will keep your little one's digestive system running smoothly.

These are extremely convenient and are my new go-to for a quick snack both at home and on the go.  If you'd like to introduce your child to a delicious tasting and kid-friendly yogurt alternative, then by all means let them try the new Stonyfield Organic YoKids Greek Yogurt!
