Review - Tatutina Hand-Painted Gifts ~ Butterfly Children's Step Stool

TatutinaOne of the million things I like about being a mommy is getting to shop all of the various cute children's items for my daughter.  Now that she is in the midst of potty training, I realize how important a good step stool is to have.  Right now, she is still using her tiny potty, but soon she will be ready for the big, the big potty that is!

She also needs to learn how to use the step stool for washing her hands at the sink, because frankly, she is getting way to heavy for me to lift her up to the sink much longer.  There a ton of step stools out there for children, but I believe I've found one of the cutest, hand-painted step stools out there from a company called Tatutina.  I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to review the Butterfly Step Stool.  Keep reading to find out more!

I reviewed the Butterfly Kid's Foot Stool from Tatutina, which retails for $48.00.

Tatutina makes a whole slew of wonderful hand-painted gifts which any parent or child would find delightful.  I was very happy when the Butterfly Kid's Step Stool arrived because the actual step stool looked just as bright and vibrant as it did on their website.  The step stool was very level and didn't wobble at all when I placed it on our floor.

That made me feel at ease, because Riley can be quite rambunctious at times and is also quite the dare devil.  I just knew that if this stool was wobbly at all that she would eventually fall off and possibly hurt herself.  I was glad to find that Tatutina takes making a quality children's step stool so seriously.

Tatutina made sure to make every inch of this step stool lively and inviting, with orange legs with yellow flowers on them and even a pink polka-dotted underneath, as shown in the bottom pictures.

Even though the Butterfly Step Stool was packed with a lot of paper layered all around it, unfortunately, it still arrived slightly damaged, as shown in the lower left picture.  I would hope that maybe Tatutina might consider using bubble wrap around the edges to really protect their precious hand-painted surfaces.

As you can see from the bottom right picture, as soon as I showed this step stool to Riley, she fell in love with it.  I wanted to only keep this stool in the bathroom so that she could stand on it for washing her hands afterwards, but Riley insisted that it be brought into the living room, so that she could use it as a place to sit too.  She watched her daily Elmo show while sitting on the Butterfly Step Stool the entire time.

Tatutina makes a wonderful selection of children's products that are all hand-painted and extremely bright and interesting!  I was very happy with the quality of their step stools and highly recommend purchasing one of their designs.  From bookend sets, to dog treat boxes to even hand-painted take-out menu boxes, there is bound to be something special for every member of your family at Tatutina!
