Summer is in full swing which means that Riley and I spend almost all of our time outside!  I'm a little concerned about this, because here in Texas, summer time means a TON OF SUN TIME!  I have really fair skin and Riley seems to have inherited that from me too.  Also, her father has a history of cancer in his family, so I can't ignore some startling statistics:

• 1 in 5 Americans are victims of skin cancer
• 90% of skin cancer is caused by the sun’s harmful rays

Sunscreen is great, but I'm so afraid that it will be rubbed, sweated or washed off.  I'm also fearful that I will miss some spots when applying the sunscreen or forget to reapply it when it's time to.  For these valid reasons, I'm glad that I got the chance to review the UV Skinz 3PC Pink Popsicle Set.  Keep reading to learn more!

I couldn't have been happier with the 3PC Pink Popsicle Set from UV Skinz.  This delightfully designed children's set had everything that Riley needed to be super protected from the sun's harmful rays.  I intentionally ordered a size too large for her so that she would be able to wear this outfit again next summer and I was glad I did.

he 4T was a little baggy as I had hoped, yet still fit her well enough so that she could run, jump and play with no problems.  Thanks to the super stretchy material and drawstring waist, you could easily get more than one summer of wear out of your kid's UV Skinz protective clothing.

The reversible hat was adorable, but the brim hung down a little too low, so we flipped up the front.  I don't have to coax or plead with Riley to put on her Skinz before we go outside either.  She loves this outfit and gladly runs to get it when outdoor playtime arrives.  I have to admit that I love the 3PC Pink Popsicle Set for now I don't have to slather her ENTIRE body with sunscreen.  Just a quick application to her legs, face and lower arms and we're out the door!

This set couldn't be any more versatile either, for it's also designed to serve as swim wear, not just play wear.  This material dries very quickly too, so you could literally have just one outfit for playing outside and then going to take a dip in the pool...now that's convenience!

With summer in our midst, all parents have to think about adequate sun protection for their children.  UV Skinz takes the worry out of that by blocking 98% of the sun's rays with their clothing line.  These clothes are durable, comfortable, colorful and fun to wear.  They also will stand up well to both chlorine and salt water.  When Riley is outside this summer, it will always be in her UV Skinz!
