My husband and I were watching an old black and white movie the other night ("Laura", a great movie, by the way) when it dawned on me that both women and men don't wear hats anymore like they used to. Why? Hats are great for accessorizing any outfit and look very chic and fashionable. They're also perfect for keeping warm during those cold winter months and they're a must-have on those "bad hair" days.

I knit and I am always making hats. I love them I did like those cozy hats alot! I live at the beach and if you don't wear a hat you can freeze your ears off on many days.

For many many years, I hated hats. But as of late, I find myself wishing I wore more of them. I miss some of the good 'ol Southern hats!
