STMIn the age of technology, I must admit that I cannot take a trip lasting more than a few hours without my trusty laptop.  Of course, I usually carry my camera and iPad wherever I go too.  Because I'm constantly toting these expensive electronics around, I rely heavily on a quality travel bag to protect them on the journey.

STM is an Australian company whose main mission is to design stylish bags and accessories that protect your precious technological devices whenever you hit the road.  I had the chance to review one of their newest creations, the Impulse Medium Laptop Backpack.  Keep reading to learn more!

I reviewed the Impulse Medium Laptop Backpack in Gray from STM, which retails for $99.99.

STM Impulse Laptop Backpack

When comfort and organization are key to the journey, the Impulse Laptop Backpack from STM will be your favorite travel companion.  It contains a dedicated technology compartment to store and protect your laptop and tablet as well as tons of organizational and storage areas for the long haul.

Features:

  • Main technology compartment protects laptop and tablet
  • Secondary pocket for paperwork or books
  • Comfortable backpack suspension system with sternum strap to stabilize the load
  • Luggage pass-through for wheeled bag
  • Side utility pockets for water bottle or umbrella
  • Easy access front organisation pocket for keys, wallet, pen, business cards, etc.
  • Quick drop lower pocket for charging bricks or cables
  • Front reflective tape for easy night viewing
  • Designed to fit most 15" laptops

As you can see, this backpack has a host of wonderful features that make it a real treasure to have on the go.  I absolutely love the two side pockets, designed for your water bottle and cell phone.  The small bottom front pocket is also just perfect for housing your camera or car keys.  This pocket offers easy access for all of your highly used items.

I especially love the large, front zippered pocket which contains a key fob, slots for pens and a zippered compartment that fits my eReader like a glove. For comfort, airmesh straps with an integrated handle make this backpack a delight to carry by hand, or on your shoulders.  The included sternum strap is an absolute dream for keeping this backpack from shifting unnecessarily and makes it much more pleasurable to carry as well.

Because we always have a preschooler in tow, my husband and I insist on carrying a backpack wherever we go.  Recently, my family took a trip to the museum to see the latest exhibit.  My husband wanted to see the special history exhibit being showcased there, leaving me to take Riley through the museum alone.  Guiding an excited child through a busy museum by yourself is no small feat, but thanks to the STM Impulse Laptop Backpack and some careful packing, I had the situation completely under control.

This backpack offered plenty of room to store a few snacks and bottles of water for when we took a break to rest our bones.  I also had room to carry my wallet, large camera with telephoto lens (for some stunning pictures) and a sweater in case the museum got chilly.  The Impulse Backpack is such a stylish way to tote absolutely everything you need with room for much, much more!
