Unfortunately, I not only suffer from adult acne (yay!), I also suffer from Rosacea as well. So in order to have clear, radiant skin, I have to combat both conditions at the same time without either solution aggravating the other. Sound tough? It is, but I'm hoping that the new micro-crystal medicine Proactiv Combination Therapy system can finally give my acne the boot. Keep reading to learn more!
The Proactiv Solution skin care system is one I'm sure you've seen plenty of ads and infomercials for and they have some huge celebrity endorsements under their belt too. Everyone from Jessica Simpson to Katy Perry claim that Proactiv has helped deliver clear, acne-free skin.
The cornerstone of their 3-step system uses finely milled, prescription-grade benzoyl peroxide designed to work faster and be even gentler than before. Just three steps, twice per day can finally get your acne under control, though since there is no cure for acne, you will need to use the Proactiv system from now on to continue to see clear skin.
First, cleanse your face with the a dime-sized amount of the renewing cleanser and then rinse off with warm water. Next, tone your skin with the revitalizing toner and allow it to dry completely. Finally, apply the repairing treatment in a thin layer over the entire area and allow it to dry as well.
I've used the Proactiv system now for two weeks and have noticed that my acne has cleared a little. Unfortunately, my Rosacea appears to be aggravated somewhat and so I have much more redness and a little swelling on my face. I think that Proactiv must work well for a lot of people, thus its popularity, but I'm afraid that someone with complicated skin, such as mine, must try again to find something which will reduce my acne without aggravating my Rosacea.
