SuperMEWhen I was a kid, I loved going back to school.  It was an exciting time of meeting new friends and teachers, reuniting with old pals and getting an entirely new stash of school supplies and clothes!

Selecting these new school supplies and clothes wasn't a decision I took lightly either.  I shopped long and hard to try and find the most amazing items with which to start the new school year, because the first few weeks of school was the time to see and be seen.

SuperME has created an outstanding way to set your star student apart from the crowd.  Instead of a boring backpack, their packs have the power to instantly transform into a superhero costume!  Keep reading to learn more!

I reviewed the Bubblicious Cape Backpack and the Rocker Patch in Purple from SuperMe, which retails for $45.00 and $5.00, respectively.

The SuperME Bubblicious Cape Backpack is one of the most colorful and awe-inspiring backpacks I've ever seen!  My daughter was fascinated with it from the very beginning and I was impressed by the overall style and features offered by the SuperME Cape Backpack.

First, it comes complete with a standard Velcro-patch to be proudly displayed on the front.  What's neat though is that a myriad of other patches can be purchased so as to completely customize your child's SuperME backpack.  I loved the Rocker Patch and now Riley has this one displayed on the front with the original patch covering the identification information on the back.

This backpack comes with both shoulder straps and a chest strap so that it stays in place while on the go, and I definitely appreciated the addition of small reflectors on the strap buckles.  Now, if your child walks to or from school or is ever near oncoming traffic, the reflectors will help your little one to be seen more readily.

Of course, the best part of the SuperME Cape Backpack is the superhero cape and mask included.  Just as every famous superhero must be able to change into their alter-ego in a moment's notice, so your child can quickly unfurl their cape from the top zippered compartment and slide on their mask in a hurry.  How fun!

Inside the backpack itself, there is plenty of room for a small notebook, pencils, crayons, water bottle and the like.  Of course, because this isn't a large backpack, I wouldn't recommend this item for children over about 8 years old.  By this time, they are usually required to carry more school items than I think this pack would allow.

But for younger children, there's no doubt in my mind that they will be super proud to carry SuperME to school and will greatly enjoy the imaginative play that comes with donning a superhero uniform on their way to and from school!
