Introducing the Eddie Bauer Kids Collection ~ Keeping Warm in the Girls’ 3-in-1 Snowfoil Jacket

5/5 - (1 vote)

Now that autumn is officially here, it's time to start looking ahead to what our winter wear will be this year.  Since kids grow like weeds, they can rarely wear the same coat two years in a row and my little tumbleweed is no exception.  Eddie Bauer is a brand that has been keeping both Michael and me warm for years and our closets contain many of their well-designed coats and jackets.

So, I was thrilled to learn that Eddie Bauer has recently released a new kids line of clothing.  I couldn't wait to outfit Riley with the Girls' 3-in-1 Snowfoil Jacket in Deep Pink and Eddie Bauer generously obliged.  Keep reading to learn more about one of this winter's must-haves!

I reviewed the Girls' 3-in-1 Snowfoil Jacket in Deep Pink from Eddie Bauer Kids, which retails for $69.95.

The Eddie Bauer Girls' 3-in-1 Snowfoil Jacket is a workhorse of a winter coat!  This jacket is a terrific value for it is really three jackets in one: wear just the shell, the liner, or both together.  The snazzy fleece camo-patterned liner is great for staying snug and cozy on cool autumn days when just a little extra warmth is in order.

It has a high zip-up neck to keep little girls warm when the wind starts to blow and has two outer pockets and two inner pockets for storing cell phones and other essentials.  The fleece liner has the Eddie Bauer logo stitched in silver thread on the bottom right of the jacket front and even contains a sewn-in identification badge for writing your child's name and phone number, in case the liner is misplaced.

While the liner is great, it doesn't have near the bells and whistles of the Girls' 3-in-1 Snowfoil Jacket shell.  This shell is perfect to wear alone as a windbreaker during those windy autumn days and when coupled with the warmth of the fleece liner, becomes a kid-warming powerhouse!  The water-repellent shell is composed of 100% nylon with a 100% polyester lining.  The shell is a two-tone pink and the lining is composed of a light pink...perfect for little girls!

The shell contains a hood whose height can be adjusted using the Velcro strip on the back.  It also has a high zip-up neck, like the fleece liner, and a Velcro storm flap which covers the zipper entirely.  The shell contains the Eddie Bauer logo silk-screened on the bottom right of the jacket and has two zippered outer pockets for carrying items securely.  It even contains adjustable cuffs for comfort and a sewn-in identification badge for writing your child's name and phone number, in case the shell is misplaced.

Eddie Bauer even thought to make the fleece liner and the outer shell easy to wear together too.  There are small, dark pink loops attached to the fleece liner at the bottom of the sleeves and at the back of the neck.  These loops coincide with the light pink Velcro strips attached in the same places to the inside of the jacket's shell, as shown in the bottom right picture above.  Thread the Velcro strips through the small loops on the fleece liner to ensure that the two function as one jacket when paired together...pure genius!

I honestly don't have one bad thing to say about the Eddie Bauer Girls' 3-in-1 Snowfoil Jacket in Deep Pink.  They have literally thought of everything when designing this coat and have made it a great value for parents in that they have made so many ways to wear it.  Now if the weather turns a little cool, super windy or downright cold, Riley will be prepared by using the same Eddie Bauer jacket in a variety of ways.  If you are looking for a well-designed and stylish jacket this season for your little ones, then by all means, purchase the Girls' or Boys' 3-in-1 Snowfoil Jacket from Eddie Bauer!
