Review - Lumixyl Topical Brightening System ~ Four Steps to a Brighter You...In Only 6-8 Weeks

Lumixyl from Envy MedicalI've always been plagued by my freckles and other signs of sun damage on my face.  I wish I would have practiced better sun protection when I was younger, for now, my skin is definitely paying the price.  If you suffer from skin pigmentation issues, but have nowhere to turn, Envy Medical may just have what you're looking for with the Lumixyl Topical Brightening System.

This 4-step skin care regimen targets unwanted discoloration and works to brighten skin tone and increase luminosity.  I recently had the chance to give this new topical system a try.  Keep reading to learn more!

I reviewed the Lumixyl Topical Brightening System from Envy Medical, which retails for approximately $270.00 but is currently on sale for $209.99.

Lumixyl Topical Brightening System from Envy Medical

Lumixyl is a non-toxic, non-irritating, synthetic peptide technology that is clinically shown to significantly improve the appearance of unwanted discoloration, age spots, sun spots and uneven skin tone.  Developed by dermatological researchers at Stanford University, Lumixyl’s ground-breaking Decapeptide-12 is the only peptide shown to measurably aid the skin in restraining tyrosinase, the enzyme responsible for initiating the overproduction of melanin, that can cause uneven pigmentation and dark spots.

Studies show that Decapeptide-12 helps inhibit the production of melanin more efficaciously than hydroquinone - reducing melanin synthesis by as much as 40 percent compared to treatments with hydroquinone, which reduced production by only 7 percent in the same study.  These results are one reason Lumixyl is considered by many to be the first real alternative to Hydroquinone.

Lumixyl Topical Brightening System Before and After from Envy Medical

I have been using the Lumixyl Topical Brightening System for three weeks now and am already beginning to see some real results.  Since I am considered a Fitzpatrick Phototype II because I have fair skin and blue eyes, I have just begun to move into the Level 2 recommended usage amount.  This daily regimen consists of using the Active-Prep Cleanser twice per day (AM & PM), the Lumixyl Topical Brightening Creme twice per day (AM & PM) and the GlycoPeel 20 and MoistureLock Sunscreen SPF30 daily in the morning only.

I am thrilled that my skin hasn't shown any irritation from this treatment thus far.  I've used hydroquinone-based products in the past and always had super sun sensitivity as well as recurrent peeling, but with Lumixyl, there's been no side effects whatsoever.  I can already tell that some of my darker freckles are lightening somewhat, which is wonderful!  I can't wait to see how my skin continues to change, since it is common for results to be seen around the 6-8 weeks mark.

Unfortunately, the price tag for Lumixyl is rather steep, but I do highly recommend this 4-step skin care system if you want to do something about your hyperpigmentation problems once and for all.  The Lumixyl Topical Brightening System from Envy Medical will also improve the natural exfoliation of dead skin cells, tighten enlarged pores and improve skin texture and tone.

This system is also much safer than more traditional skin lightening methods like hydroquinone and doesn't irritate the skin.  Start the new year off with brighter, smoother and clearer skin by beginning your Lumixyl skin care regimen now!
