Now that fall is here, you know what that means...the holidays are literally around the corner.  Soon, you may find yourself in a house filled to capacity with friends and relatives, all looking for a fun source of entertainment.  In situations such as these, I usually suggest playing board games.

Board games are definitely more fun than sitting in front of the television, and they create the perfect situation for both sharing and making wonderful memories together.  Because I'm such a board game nut, I'm always on the hunt for exciting and interesting games to play with my family.  Morphology from Morphology Games has quickly become my new favorite for hilarious fun!  Keep reading to learn more!

Family Fun and Plenty of Laughs Await with Morphology Game

Morphology is a unique, creative and slightly addicting board game designed for 4 or more players ages 13 years old and up.  It is reminiscent of charades or Pictionary, but with a whole new twist.  Instead of being able to use just your hands and actions, like in charades, or your drawings, like in Pictionary, the Morphology game requires you to create something all your own using the building materials supplied.

For instance, if you could only use wooden sticks, glass beads and colored cubes, could you create a butterfly or an airplane?  Now try doing it with your eyes closed or using only the string!  Morphology takes unique twists and turns every time the game is played, and has everyone laughing out loud.

Wondering what you're given to work with?  The picture below shows all the materials you'll have to recreate your particular word on the card:

The rules are fairly simple and the goal is to get your team to guess the word on your card within one minute's time.  If you do, you can hop your little froggy to the next lily pad.  But, if you happen to land on a roll space, you'll have some limitations to what you can and can't do to get your team to guess the correct word.  Fun obstacles such as creating your masterpiece with your eyes closed, using string or your weak hand only all make the hilarity factor of Morphology skyrocket!

You might also land on the Pick 3 lily pad, which means that the opposing team gets to pick the 3 items you'll get to use to get your team to guess the correct word.  Depending on the word, this could work in your favor or could also seal your doom.  Whichever way the die rolls, you're guaranteed to have a great time playing Morphology.

I really appreciated the new Morphology game and as an avid board game player, I thought that I had pretty much seen it all.  Morphology though is a refreshingly original spin on a classic concept and within minutes of playing, I promise that you'll be laughing and having fun!  Isn't that what playing board games is all about?
