Thanks to the Motorola ELITE SLIVER Bluetooth Headset, You Can Now Text With Your Voice

5/5 - (1 vote)

I've actually owned a Bluetooth Headset for a few years now and find it an essential communication accessory for when you are traveling or are on the go and happen to be receiving a lot of calls.  Typically, they are fairly easy to use and to pair with your existing devices, but can be limited when it comes to hours of talk time and call clarity.

Leave it to Motorola to invent a Bluetooth Headset that not only overcomes these typical headset shortcomings, but then goes above and beyond by offering a few new, groundbreaking features as well.  For instance, with the ELITE SLIVER, you can now text with your voice!  I had the chance to review this new addition to the Motorola family for myself.  Keep reading to learn more!

I reviewed the ELITE SLIVER Bluetooth Headset (98862N) from Motorola, which retails for $129.99 but is currently on sale for $99.00 with FREE SHIPPING at Amazon.com.

With the Motorola ELITE SLIVER Bluetooth headset, you'll find that it's so small, it's barely visible.  The ELITE SLIVER provides excellent audio with increased clarity and richer sound thanks to the HD Audio Plus with true wideband audio and CrystalTalk dual-mic technology. You also don't have to worry about limiting your conversations or the amount you use this headset each day because the ELITE SLIVER offers 15 hours of talk time (and 35 DAYS of standby time). It even comes with a portable carrying case that also serves as a charger, so you never have to worry about it not being ready to use.

In addition to voice communication, the ELITE SLIVER can initiate text messages using the MotoSpeak app (compatible with Android phones), which enables you to read and respond to texts without lifting a finger.  I love texting back and forth with my friends and now I can do this safely and even while driving, shopping at the grocery store or playing with my daughter at the park.

The MotoSpeak app allows you to stay informed by announcing the callers' names and even translating 150 text acronyms like LOL, BTW and L8R, so you don't have to worry about missing the meaning of a text message.

With Tap to Pair functionality, the ELITE SLIVER easily pairs by tapping the charging case against a phone with integrated Near Field Communication (NFC) technology. (This is only available with NFC-enabled phones that support NFC Bluetooth pairing.)

With Motorola's Voice Prompts, you can get audible updates on your phone's status as well as listen to music or audio streamed from your phone with the embedded A2DP streaming audio profile.  The ELITE SLIVER is very comfortable and can be worn in either ear thanks to its swiveling earpiece.  The included 5 ear gels help you get a perfect fit tailored to your particular ear.

Of course, the Motorola ELITE SLIVER also provides an enjoyable experience for the person you're talking with on the other end of the line.  With CrystalTalk dual-mic noise cancellation, this headset lets your caller focus on the conversation without having to worry about distracting noises.

I love how I don't have to be tethered to my phone either while using the Motorola ELITE SLIVER.  This Bluetooth Headset allows me to stay connected while my phone is up to 300 feet away.

If you plan on purchasing a Bluetooth Headset for your cellular phone, especially if you have an Android, then by all means check out the slim and sophisticated clarity and cutting-edge features that come with owning a Motorola ELITE SLIVER.  This innovative accessory will make communicating with your friends and family easier, safer and even more fun!

Do you find that using a Bluetooth headset paired with your cell phone makes communication and multitasking easier? Why or why not?
