ABCI don't know about you, but I am always looking forward to the new television shows released every Fall.  My family doesn't watch that much TV, but it seems that we always find at least one or two new shows to zealously tune into every season.  One of those shows used to be LOST.  My husband and I just couldn't get enough of it and after six action-packed seasons, we were sad to see it come to an end.

So imagine my delight when I became aware of a brand new TV show, from the writers of LOST, which will debut this Fall on ABC, called Once Upon a Time.  This show centers around a young woman, named Emma Swan, who wanders into the town of Storybrooke, after the son she gave up for adoption finds her.  Henry, Emma's now 10-year old son, believes that his mother comes from an alternate world and can help rescue him from his evil foster mother.

You might be saying at this point, "Doesn't sound like anything new or exciting to me".  But that's because what I haven't told you is that Storybrooke is a New England town where fairytale characters are alive and frozen in time, thanks to the Evil Queen's curse.  Henry also believes Emma to be the lost daughter of Prince Charming and Snow White, while his own foster mother is the Evil Queen herself.

Storybrooke is a town full of familiar fairytale characters who don't remember who they are.  The epic battle for the future of all worlds is beginning, but for good to win, Emma will have to accept her destiny and fight like hell.

I'm so excited to see the writers of LOST at it again with a fresh, new twist on classic fairytale characters we all know and love.  I can't wait to be swept away by Once Upon a Time!

I'm a former 7th grade Science teacher turned stay-at-home mom that lives in Houston, Texas. I am married to my college sweetheart and have a beautiful daughter named Riley, who definitely keeps me on my toes! I am also involved in starting a small business which would both manufacture and sell an invention that I've patented, called Toothpaste 2 Go. I love interacting with my readers and hope to learn as much about you as you learn about me!
