PRWeb Offers News Releases that Get You Noticed

5/5 - (1 vote)

As a struggling small business owner, I find it difficult and expensive to "get the word out" about my invention, Toothpaste 2 Go.  My husband and I have been actively selling this device on our own website for almost 2 years and although we sell quite a few that way, we're still looking for our big break.

If there's one thing I've learned from also being a blog owner, it's that promotion and advertising are everything and can make a huge difference in your company's bottom line.  But if you're like me and own a business without a large advertising budget, then online news releases might be just what you're searching for.

News Releases: An Affordable Method to Reach Millions at Once

As the world's number one news release service, PRWeb will send your news to major search engines like Google, Yahoo! News, and Bing.  They also send it to over 30,000 journalists and bloggers, as well as 250,000+ PRWeb opt-in news subscribers.  They even host your news release on PRWeb.com, which receives over 3 million visitors each month.

I was a little intimidated when using PRWeb, simply because I had never written a press release before and was unsure of how I would do.  I made several revisions and these were temporarily denied by PRWeb because the format wasn't as good as it could be.  I'm happy to report though that everyone there was extremely helpful in showing where I had gone wrong and in helping me to correct my burgeoning press release.

Finally, I was all set and on August 30th, the press release announcing my Toothpaste 2 Go invention to the world was ready!  At PRWeb, you're easily able to choose both an interest subset of folks as well as a geographic subset of folks you believe to be the most interested in reading your news releases.  I liked the ability to narrow down the recipients of our message in this way so that we could target a particular audience.

I'm happy to report that to date my press release has received over 72,000 headline impressions, 36,000+ were from news feeds and 36,000+ were online.  It's also been read over 700 times and has been picked up online and published in over 160 online news sites.  Our sales have definitely doubled from what they were, although we haven't received any contact regarding further press features or wholesaler interest.

Because PRWeb publishes all news releases straight to the search engines that everyone uses, like Google, Yahoo and Bing, a press release can be one of the easiest ways to boost your search engine ranking. You can even include images, links and videos in your PRWeb news releases, earning you a higher place in search results.  Our press release was even featured in the online version of our local paper, the Houston Chronicle!

I was definitely pleased by my first experience with PRWeb and plan to use them in the future to promote additional news releases.  If you happen to need a little extra "boost" to your small business or blog but are on a limited budget, then by all means, try PRWeb news releases for yourself.  You just never know who might be reading and what opportunities are waiting!

Disclosure:  I received a complimentary press release from PRWeb in order to facilitate my review. No other compensation was received. This product review is based on my own personal experiences with this item and is completely honest and objective.

I am married to my college sweetheart and have a beautiful daughter named Riley, that definitely keeps me on my toes! I am also involved in starting a small business which would both manufacture and sell an invention that I've patented, called Toothpaste 2 Go. I love interacting with my readers and hope to learn as much about you as you learn about me!
