AlphabeastsAs a parent, I always love finding toys that can do double-duty.  Obviously, I want my daughter to enjoy every plaything that she has, but it warms my heart and makes me feel good when I know that the toy she has is also educational for her too.

Now all children loved stuffed animals, but I've recently discovered 26 new friends that are designed to do more with your child than just cuddle, they also can also help them learn the alphabet in a whole new way.  It's my pleasure to introduce to you...the Alphabeasts!

I reviewed the Boogeyfus, Ubatoo and Gumblegoop Alphabeast Plush Characters from Alphabeasts, which retail for $20.00 each.

Alphabeasts

The Alphabeasts are a lovable group of beasties on a mission to educate your child and improve their reading and spelling skills.  These dual-sided monsters will definitely help teach your children the alphabet as well as learn the difference between uppercase and lowercase letters.  You see, one side of each Alphabeast has a capital letter and the other side has a lowercase letter.  Through the Alphabeasts, your children can learn pronunciation and word association of each letter as well as begin to spell small words with them.

Alphabeasts

Personally, I loved the Alphabeasts for decorating Riley's room with!  Since her room has a ladybug theme to it, I wanted to help Riley spell out her first word...B-U-G.  The Alphabeasts were more than happy to help and have now found a permanent place in Riley's reading chair, right by her alphabetical bookcase.  I couldn't think of a better pairing and because each Alphabeast has two bright and vibrant colors, one on each side, they match her room beautifully.

Alphabeasts

Riley loved her new Alphabeasts and sleeps with one, both or all three of them most nights.  She also loves to cuddle with them while we read a story in her rocking chair.  Thanks to the Alphabeasts, she can now successfully recognize the difference between uppercase and lowercase "G" and has even put these little guys in the correct order many times so as to spell bug.

Now that's three stuffed animals that are helping my daughter to learn while being super cute and cuddly too!  If you'd like to jazz up your child's room, then try sprinkling a few Alphabeasts about.  Learning the alphabet has never been so much fun!

I'm a former 7th grade Science teacher turned stay-at-home mom that lives in Houston, Texas. I am married to my college sweetheart and have a beautiful daughter named Riley, who definitely keeps me on my toes! I am also involved in starting a small business which would both manufacture and sell an invention that I've patented, called Toothpaste 2 Go. I love interacting with my readers and hope to learn as much about you as you learn about me!
