Cheryl's If there's one thing I associate with Valentine's Day, besides love, it would have to be SWEETS!  What other holiday seems to revolve around such decadent desserts and candies?  Since I have a huge sweet tooth, I always appreciate receiving chocolates, cookies and other goodies like this on Valentine's Day.

Cheryl's Frosted Hearts Valentine Gift Box

The Valentine Gift Box came wrapped beautifully in a long, red box that almost looked as if flowers could be inside.  But, upon opening it, I found something much better...eighteen individually wrapped frosted heart cookies from Cheryl's!  Nine of the cookies had plain pink buttercream frosting and the other nine cookies contained white buttercream frosting with tiny pink, white and red heart-shaped sprinkles on top.

I was planning on saving these sugar cookies for a little closer to Valentine's Day, but who am I kidding?  Cheryl's buttercream heart cut-out cookies didn't stand a chance!  Also, it stated in the directions that these cookies are best if consumed within 5-7 days of delivery...so, twist my arm...I had to dive in!  :)

Boy, were these cookies GOOD!  I'm not usually the biggest fan of sugar cookies, for they tend to get hard rather quickly and just don't have the best flavor, but Cheryl's frosted hearts cookies were definitely an exception.  These cookies seemed to melt in your mouth because they were so fresh.

The icing was delicious as was the cookie itself, though personally, I would have preferred a little less butter taste.  Other than that, I thought these cookies were some of the best I've tasted in a long while!  Even my husband, who doesn't care much for sugar cookies or cookies with icing, had to admit that these were excellent.

If you are still searching for a delectable way to express your love this Valentine's Day, then the Frosted Hearts Valentine Gift Box from Cheryl's is a must!
