Convertible DesignsIn just a few weeks, Autumn will OFFICIALLY be here!  I love the crisp, clean air and cloudless skies that Autumn brings, but you know what that means...shopping for a quality, warm and fun jacket or coat for your child.  With Autumn's first cold snap, we know that Winter will be here all too soon and we have to make sure that our children are ready to brave the wind and the cold for the next several months.

I'm so excited to tell you about the absolute coolest jacket I've ever seen!  It's called the T-Jack and it's made by a company called Convertible Designs.  There is nothing this jacket can't do and is by far the most versatile and fun jacket on the market.  Keep reading to find out why I think the T-Jack is "the bee's knees"!

I reviewed the T-Jack Beetle Children's Jacketfrom Convertible Designs, which retails for $85.00, but is currently on sale for $75.00.

I had the opportunity to review the T-Jack Beetle from Convertible Designs and I was thrilled when it arrived at my door!  This jacket was a beautiful turquoise blue with navy and lime green accents!  The lime green accents were actually iridescent, so as to match the large Beetle design on the back and front lapel.  The iridescent green also gave the jacket an authentic "bug look"!

I was very surprised at just how heavy duty and thick the poly fill in this jacket was and I liked the quilted lining on the inside of the T-Jack as well as the knit cuffs around each wrist.  This jacket is machine washable and is made from water resistant nylon and polyester which will keep your little one dry as well as warm and toasty!  As a matter of fact, the T-Jack guarantees to keep your child warm in temperatures as cold as 14 degrees Fahrenheit!

The T-Jack is recommended for children ages 2 to 5 years old and comes in sizes Small, Medium and Large.  I ordered the size Medium for Riley who is about to turn 2.  She's very tall for her age and I wanted to make sure that she would be able to wear this jacket for at least a few winters (fingers crossed)!

As you can see from the pictures below, the T-Jack also comes complete with a removable hood and this hood even buttons up in the front so as to cover your child's mouth and nose when the weather outside is really frigid!  The bottom right picture shows the back of the T-Jack and the unique, eye-catching Beetle with glass eyes, iridescent shell and nylon cord antennae.

At this point, you might be asking yourself...okay, so I see a well-made, high-quality jacket that looks pretty neat with a big beetle on the back, but why is this jacket the best one out there?  In my opinion, it's because this jacket can also be a TRAVEL PILLOW, A TOY and A BAG!  How many times do we buy clothing for our small children only to find that they've outgrown it in a few months and then it's ready for the garage sale pile or Goodwill?

Well, with the T-Jack from Convertible Designs, that doesn't have to happen!  This jacket will actually fold inside the Beetle on the back, making an instant stuffed animal toy (complete with tiny bug legs) or even a travel pillow!  So even though your child might only be able to wear this jacket for a few months, they can USE the jacket ALL YEAR LONG...and continue to find it useful even after they've outgrown the jacket completely!

As you can see in the bottom right picture, there is even a hidden strap which attaches to the Beetle if you'd like so that it can turn into a bag.  The underside of the Beetle has a small zippered compartment which a child could use to store small toys, crayons or other tiny treasures.  I absolutely LOVE spending my money on items which can be reused for other purposes or that serve several different functions and Convertible Designs has really hit the nail on the head with the T-Jack.

If you have a small child who will be needing a warm winter coat this year, then I highly recommend checking out the styles of T-Jack available from Convertible Designs.  Your child will look super cute and stylish, be protected from both the rain and the cold, and have a toy, travel pillow or bag that they can use year round!  I don't see how you could get more versatile than that!

What's the most versatile children's jacket you've ever seen?
