Crystal LightI'll be the first to admit that once summer hits, I go into serious diet and workout mode!  Short shorts, skirts and bathing suits definitely don't leave a lot to the imagination and so it's important for me to cut back on the calories and ramp up my exercise when I can.

Crystal Light has always been a mainstay for me during these times, for I'm the kind of gal who doesn't like the taste of just plain water.  Well, they've got something brand new this season designed to help you enjoy the summer without adding to your waistline.  Let me introduce you to the limited edition Crystal Light Mocktails!

Crystal Light gives women everywhere a new reason to love summer with new, limited-edition Mocktails in three fun flavors - Margarita, Mojito and Appletini!  These three flavors are available in multi-serve canisters with five 2-quart packets so there is always enough to share.  The best part is that they taste just like the real thing and contain just 5 calories and 0 carbohydrates per 8 fl. oz. serving.

This may sound silly, but I like the taste of many traditionally alcoholic drinks, but don't always feel like drinking them due to the alcohol.  Nothing tastes better than an ice cold frozen margarita on a hot summer day, but just because you're thirsty, it's easy for one margarita to turn into three!  I also have a small child to take care of without the effects of alcohol interfering, so it's great to know that with Crystal Light, there are some quick and easy mocktails I can enjoy all day long, which won't ruin my dieting progress either.

One of my absolute favorite drinks is a frozen strawberry margarita and thanks to Crystal Light's new margarita flavored drink mix, making one couldn't be simpler.  Just check out the suggestions below for how to dress up your strawberry margarita mocktail so that it's both healthy and fun to drink!

  • Serve your strawberry margarita mocktail in an unusually shaped drinking glass. Give your drinking glass a frosted edge by dipping the rim into lemon juice and then dipping it into sugar.  Put the drinking glass on a colorful coaster.

  • Add colorful decorations to the glass - drink umbrellas, swizzle sticks, paper flowers, straws and even sparklers for the 4th of July!

  • Use cocktail sticks to twist or skewer fruits and place on the rim of the drinking glass.
