Colossal Christmas Countdown: 48 Days Until Christmas!

Two weeks ago, my daughter turned 2 YEARS OLD and I couldn't believe that my baby was growing up so quickly right before my eyes!  We were celebrating her big day at a local establishment here in Houston which was filled with inflatable bounce houses, since my daughter LOVES to jump.  There's only one thing Riley loves more than jumping and that has to be Elmo! Of course, I knew there would be a million pictures taken on her special day and I wanted Riley to be wearing something as cute and adorable as she is.  As soon as I began browsing the tutu sets created by the Glitz & Glam Bowtique, I knew that they had made the perfect outfit for my daughter...an Elmo Tutu Set with Birthday Hat!  Keep reading to find out more and why this outfit MADE Riley's birthday!

As soon as I laid eyes on the Elmo Tutu Set with Birthday Hat from Glitz & Glam Bowtique, I knew this was one of the cutest outfits for a little girl that I had ever seen!  The set came with four pieces:  the personalized Elmo birthday hat, tutu with large bow, personalized Elmo t-shirt and matching hair bow.  Every piece is made just as you request and I had the options of changing the colors used in the tutu and hat if I wanted to.  I actually chose to receive the same colors promoted on their website, for I thought the rainbow colors with blue and pink birthday hat and hair bow looked wonderful.

Each piece of this set was flawlessly created and I couldn't find one singular mistake anywhere.  The embroidery on both the t-shirt and the birthday hat was perfect.  I also loved the design of the hair bow and also that the large matching bow on the tutu was removable.  Since Riley's party was at a bounce house, we removed the bow from her tutu just so that it wouldn't get lost or accidentally fall off during the party.  This was simple to do since the bow was secured to the tutu with a very small safety pin.

We paired Riley's tutu with a pair of rainbow striped knit pants that she already owned and I thought they matched perfectly.  She absolutely LOVED wearing her new tutu and I saw her spinning and twirling in it when she thought no one else was looking!  I can't tell you how many compliments she received at her birthday party.  Everyone thought she looked so adorable and I thought that she definitely stood out from the crowd and looked like the belle of the ball!  Every picture that we have of that day makes me smile, since she looks so cute in every one of them, thanks to the Elmo Tutu Set she is wearing.

Personally, I absolutely adored the birthday hat that came with the set, but Riley hates wearing anything on her head for very long.  The good thing is that the ladies at Glitz & Glam Bowtique took great care when creating the birthday hat, for they really secured the elastic strap with two huge dollops of glue so that no matter how rough Riley was with her hat, she wasn't going to break it.

My husband liked the tutu set so much that he even suggested having it framed inside one of those large shadowbox frames to commemorate her birthday.  Currently, Riley's favorite stuffed animal is donning the birthday hat in her bedroom and it still looks just as cute!
