Rain or Shine Kids (RoSK)When your child is traveling in a stroller, their face and chest is usually protected from the elements by the stroller's canopy.  But what do you do to protect their tiny legs, arms and feet from the direct sunlight?  When it's hot outside, the last thing your child wants to do is put a blanket on to cover their lower half, but do you honestly want to slather them with sunscreen either?

Protecting your child from the sun's harmful rays is the concept behind the Sun Cover from Rain or Shine Kids (RoSK).  Their attachable cover will help keep your child's entire body protected from a nasty sunburn.

I reviewed the Sun Cover from Rain or Shine Kids (RoSK), which retails for $38.00.

Traveling with Riley usually means exposing her to our scorching Texas sun!  Of course, because she is so fair-skinned, I am always concerned about her skin's protection from the elements.  Now, I've found the answer!  Rain or Shine Kids came up with a really clever solution when they invented the Sun Cover.  It's an organic cotton cloth with a colorful border and matching ties near the top.

These ties are what really make the Sun Cover super functional for they can easily be tied to the sides of your stroller.  This way, the head and chest of your child is protected from the sun by your stroller's canopy and the bottom half of your child is protected by the RoSK Sun Cover.

This cloth is actually considered to offer SPF 30 protection! Now, you don't have to be inconvenienced with applying greasy sunscreen all over their arms and legs, because the Sun Cover does this same job for you easily!  Because the Sun Cover is so light and airy, your child won't get overheated by having this cover on either.

What's really neat is that the Sun Cover can be used in many other ways besides only being attached to your stroller.  This cover also attaches to baby carriers (see picture above) and car seats too!  If you're breastfeeding in public, you can even tie the ends of the Sun Cover around your neck for an instant nursing cover.

What about if you live where it rains frequently and you'd like to protect your child from the rain or drizzle while in their stroller?  Rain or Shine Kids has you covered there too.  Just check out their rain gear section for more information.

I think that Rain or Shine Kids (RoSK) came up with a great idea by creating the Sun Cover.  I only wish that I would have known about this cover sooner, so that it would have been much easier to protect Riley's delicate skin while we were outdoors.  Just think, now you can easily apply SPF 30 sun protection to your child by simply tying two bows!  :)
