No Slippy Hair ClippyOVERVIEW: Having a little girl is a ton of fun!  There are so many cute little dresses, shoes, jumpers, etc. that I love dressing Riley in. Unfortunately though, Riley hates wearing anything on her head, so all of those adorable coordinating bonnets and hats are just sitting in a drawer in her room.

This leaves me to accessorize her hair instead, since she is adamant about not wearing a hat.  That's where I've encountered another problem.  Riley has extremely fine hair too!  One of the "gifts" she got from me was her straight, baby fine hair.  I can't seem to ever get a cute little bow or hair clip to stay in her hair for very long before it slides right out.

Now that she's a toddler and bounding all over the place, that extra movement really makes it impossible for a hair clip to stay in.  She has to wear them though because her hair will constantly be in her face and her eyes if she doesn't...AND they're another pretty thing that I can use to dress my little girl in!

I was sent the Salena hair clippy ($9.95), the Haley hair clippy ($5.95), the Ryan hair clippy ($8.95) and the Mimi headband ($7.95).  These can be purchased via surrounding stores or online.

We invented the no slip hair clip back in 2000, and remain committed to the belief that our customers deserve the very best. Every hair clip is meticulously handcrafted as if it were being made for one of our own children. This is the core philosophy of No Slippy Hair Clippy®.

We are proud to be the first. The first no slip hair clip, the first company to name hair clips after girls, the first velvet-wrapped no-slip French clip, the first velvet-lined headband, and the first organic cotton headwrap. In fact, in most cases we're still the only company to offer these things (although we have seen a few imitators out there)!

We will continue to introduce new and innovative products for babies, girls and women which are Made in America, under our quality control. We have become known for our baby hair accessories and baby gifts, but this time we aim to be the top brand for girls of all ages. We will not be deterred from our quest for excellence. As our customer, we know that you count on us to deliver the best hair clips and accessories anywhere, and we're not about to let you down.

I loved getting the sample pack from No Slippy Hair Clippy!  I couldn't wait to see what all they included for me to review.  Here's a pic of what I received:

Pictured from top to bottom are the Mimi Headband, the Salena "R" clippy, the Haley clippy and the Ryan clippy.  The folks at No Slippy Hair Clippy were also nice enough to include this hair clippy holder made from pink ribbon too.  Right away, I noticed what it was that made the No Slippy Hair Clippys so unique.

They have a small piece of velvet surrounding the parts of the clip which come into contact with your hair.  I didn't think this could make that big of a difference in whether or not the clip would slide out or not, but it sure did!  Riley wore every one of the clips we were sent and for the rest of the night, all of them actually stayed in place!

The No Slippy Hair Clippys are unique for a few other reasons too.  Every one of their clips are handcrafted and made in America.  After carefully looking over my samples, I can wholeheartedly believe that they are handmade.  I could not find one singular flaw in any of the four products I received.  Every one of them looked absolutely perfect.  They have a huge selection too!

When I was first contacted by No Slippy Hair Clippy, I was asked to pick out some clips that I would like to try.  I went on their website and was overwhelmed with the wonderful selection they carry.  I honestly could not decide and so I asked them to surprise me!  This is probably why they won a 2008 Earnie Award for design excellence!

I've included some pics of Riley modeling the new clips we received.  It was hard for her to keep still long enough for me to take some really good pictures, but I'm hoping that you can still see how well these clips stayed in her very fine hair.

I love the fact that I finally have a source for beautiful, original hair clips for my daughter (and myself) that will absolutely NOT slide out of our baby fine hair!  No Slippy Hair Clippy offers a ton of wonderful, handcrafted hair accessories for all girls ranging from babies to adults.

The hair clips I reviewed were of extremely high quality and although they are a little expensive, in my opinion, I know that they will actually stay in my daughter's hair and are built to last.  I couldn't find one flaw in any of the samples I received and they have so many gorgeous designs, that I'm sure you will have a hard time choosing what to get too!
