The ICON Irix II Headlamp provides an impressive amount of lighting in a hands-free device.  This headlamp includes high-efficiency LEDs with a wide, powerful, user-friendly beam and is fully adjustable from zero to 50 lumens. I found the headband to be very comfortable and I thought that, for a headlamp, the design was pretty attractive.  The durable polymer housing provides a rugged and good looking design that is meant to last.

The ICON Irix II fit my head well for most any everyday type of task, but when it came to using it for a nightly jog, I found that it stayed on my head better if I wore it over a baseball cap.  The constant jiggling caused the headlamp to slide, which I expected, but the brim of the baseball cap held it in place perfectly.
