Colossal Christmas Countdown:

2 Days Until Christmas!

There's nothing better after a relaxing bath or shower than drying off with an extremely soft, yet absorbent bath towel.  Finding quality bath linens isn't always easy though, for I can never seem to find the perfect combination of softness and absorbency.  Most of the time, the thick fluffy towels I have don't dry well at all and merely move the water around on my body instead of soaking it up.

Although they feel great, they're pretty much useless.  Inevitably, I end up reverting back to the super thin and super rough towels I own only because they are great at absorbing water.  Nicole Jane Home carries an entire line of Aegean towels made from 100% Turkish cotton.  Keep reading to find out whether these towels could be both soft AND absorbent at the same time!

I reviewed the following bath linens from Nicole Jane Home:

Aegean Bath Towel (28" x 52") in Pebble, which retails for $25.99 each

Aegean Hand Towel (20" x 32") in Pebble, which retails for $15.99 each

Aegean Face Cloth (12" x 12") in Pebble, which retails for $4.99 each

I really liked the look of the Aegean Bath Towels from Nicole Jane Home, for they had a pinstripe design woven into the towels themselves.  These towels were also made in Turkey from 100% Aegean long-staple cotton and since Turkey has been perfecting the art of bathing for centuries, I had high hopes for these bath linens.

I also loved the large selection of colors available for the Aegean bath towels.  Although it was a difficult decision, I ended up choosing the pebble color for this shade blended nicely with the bathroom's blue and brown decor they would be used in.  Right away, I loved how soft these towels felt, yet they were much thinner than I was expecting them to be.  Most towels I've had in the past that felt this soft were always extremely thick and plush.

This thickness is the exact reason they didn't work well.  The Aegean bath linens are perfectly weighted for maximum absorbency and efficient drying.  Since I could already feel they were soft, I couldn't wait to shower with these to see how well they would dry.

It was terrific!  These towels did soak the water right up and didn't merely spread it around all over.  I was so thrilled that at long last, a towel which feels luxurious and has a high absorbency for water has been found!  Another great thing is knowing that the more these towels are washed, the fluffier, softer and more absorbent they will become.

If you are looking for a wonderful set of bath towels which are designed to feel super soft as well as soak up a ton of water, then I highly suggest the Aegean Deluxe Bath Linens from Nicole Jane Home!  These towels come in a variety of colors to match any decor and will definitely leave your skin pampered and dry.
