SnapMe SwimwearOnesies are a must for any parent who has a child in diapers.  The snaps at the crotch make it super easy to access and change their dirty diaper without having to completely undress them each time.  Why then has no one ever thought that these same snaps need to be used in children's swimwear too?

If you're at the pool or the beach and your child has a dirty diaper, you must literally take their entire swimsuit off to change their diaper!  SnapMe Swimwear saw how ridiculous this notion is and did something about it.  Their line of baby and toddler bathing suits all snap at the crotch, just like a onesie, so changing your child's dirty diaper is super simple!  Keep reading to find out more about my experiences with this bathing suit.

I reviewed the Red Floral Bathing Suit in a size 3T from SnapMe Swimwear, which retails for $27.99.
Let me tell you about a typical Saturday during the summer with my family. We have a 2 year old daughter that loves the beach, so we go as often as possible. We all get up in the morning, make breakfast, and then pack a ton of things that we need to bring. Before we know it, an hour has gone by. We get in the car and realize we forgot something. Another 5 minutes and we are finally on our way! It only takes us 10 minutes to get to the beach, and go figure, there is NO PLACE TO PARK!

Now it's time to unload the car and drag all of my daughter's toys, her bag, the umbrella, chairs, cooler, etc. onto the beach. We set up our little area and finally it's time to sit down and relax. As fate would have it....SHE HAS A DIRTY DIAPER!!! While I am trying to get her suit off she squirms and sand sticks to her. The suit is wet and I struggle trying to get it back on. So, I sat there and thought there has to be a better way?

Not only is SnapMe Swimwear good for diaper changing, but when you daughter shows signs that she wants to be a big girl and start to potty train you can easily pull off the snaps in no time!  Also, I am sure moms agree with me there is nothing more disgusting than a public restroom at the beach...ugh! You can use the SnapMe Suits for your older girl (sizes up to 4T) so she doesn't have to drop her bathing suit on that nasty floor ever again!

Taking a 21-month old to the beach for the first time is not always a day at the beach!  We had to pack up plenty of toys and sunscreen, her hat, snacks, milk, swim diapers & wipes, etc. for our big day of fun.  Come to find out, Riley absolutely HATED the sand at the beach and she wasn't too fond of the water either.  Okay, now what to do?  Since 99.9% of the beach experience includes sand and water, I wasn't sure how this was going to turn out.  Then, to top it all off, Riley had a dirty diaper that needed to be changed right away!

Now, there was no way I was taking her into one of those porta-potties at the beach to change her diaper, because who knows what kind of deadly bacteria are lurking in there!  So, I was forced to change her right there on the sandy beach, which Riley hated! The next question that ran through my head was, "Why don't they make baby/toddler swimsuits like they make onesies, which open at the crotch for easy diaper changing?"

Unfortunately, I was forced to take Riley's ENTIRE bathing suit off, which meant it had to go around her sandy feet and ankles and that got sand all inside her swimsuit.  Then, I had to lay her down on our towel, which also had sand on it, and change her diaper.  Now sand was all over her back and inside her bathing suit and I had to do my best to rinse both of them off before putting Riley's swimsuit back on her.  WHAT A NIGHTMARE!

Thankfully, the mom who invented SnapMe Swimwear had the exact same diaper-changing beach experience that I had and did something about it!  She invented an entire line of one-piece bathing suits which snap at the crotch, just like onesies, so that it is super simple to change your child's diaper while at the beach or pool.  I can't thank her enough for this wonderful invention and am glad that now with SnapMe Swimwear, we will never have to go through that diaper changing nightmare again!

They currently make seven different cute designs ranging in sizes from 6 months to 4T.  The next time we're beach bound or pool ready, Riley will surely be wearing her SnapMe Swimwear Red Floral bathing suit, so that her diaper change will literally be a snap!

What tips do you have for changing your baby's diaper in a public place without access to a clean restroom?
