WalmartWith Father's Day right around the corner, you might still be searching for a perfect gift for the special dad(s) in your life.  Well, if you happen to have a "techie" husband like I do, whose eyes light up and sparkle when he receives any kind of appliance, instrument or gadget, then I suggest heading over to the electronics department at Walmart.

They have so many items there that can delight and thrill that wonderful techie dad you know and love and all at prices that won't break the bank.  My husband and I went to Walmart recently so that he could show me the top gifts any techie dad would want to receive for Father's Day.  Keep reading to find out what he chose!

If your techie dad is also a music lover, then you can't go wrong with any one of the terrific iPod or iPhone players from iHome.  They make mp3 players for the garage, kitchen or office, which all look sleek and sophisticated and won't take up a lot of room.  You can even nab dad an alarm clock mp3 player so that he can wake up in style every morning to his favorite tunes!

Of course, Michael's eyes also lit up at the thought of receiving a brand new home theater system!  At Walmart there are several quality Blu-Ray or DVD player home theater systems that will thrill dad, along with every other member of your household.  If the dad you're buying for loves watching sports or movies and has been especially good this year, perhaps a home theater system is just the gift you've been searching for.

If your dad or husband is a video gamer, then Walmart is definitely the place to go for all of the latest accessories and new releases, without paying top dollar.  Michael thought that the shooting games, shown below, would make a great gift for the gamer in your life.  Perhaps your children can bond with dad over a rousing game of Dangerous Hunts 2011 for the Wii or Band Hero for XBox, making it an extra special Father's Day for him.

Maybe you've got some chatty family members who are always on the phone.  Help dad breathe a little easier about the monthly phone bill by getting him a Magic Jack.  For under $40, dad can relinquish the battle over the phone with the talkative teens in your house.  If you really want to go all out, consider purchasing a brand new cordless phone for dad's office or family room.  These phones have a ton of features that will keep dad smiling all year long!

Michael is a techie first and a movie buff second, so he always recommends getting any movie lover a great collection of Blu-Rays or DVDs for Father's Day or any special occasion.  Walmart is his first choice too for they have a wide variety of movies at some of the lowest prices in town.

Of course, any dad would be absolutely thrilled if you happened to give the daddy of ALL Father's Day presents this year...a new HDTV!  Walmart carries the hottest quality brands in a wide range of sizes, all guaranteed to plaster a giddy grin on dad's face this holiday.  HDTVs from Walmart are more affordable than you might have thought too.  For instance, you can get dad a 24" flat screen HDTV for under $200!
