SoundfreaqOne of the great things about the holiday season is all the fabulous music!  Whether you like the golden oldie Christmas carols from folks like Bing Crosby and Nat King Cole or prefer the newer selections from Justin Bieber and Michael Buble, one thing's for sure...the music just HAS to sound GREAT!

Now I have a large entertainment center in my home which sounds phenomenal, but it isn't compatible with my iPod, mp3 player, iPhone or any other portable electronic device.  So how can I play those rockin' seasonal songs while at home or on the go?  Just sync your music catalog to the Soundfreaq Sound Kick Bluetooth Speaker and get your holiday freak on!  :big grin:

Soundfreaq Sound Kick

If you're looking for an affordable and attractive Bluetooth speaker to help deliver those holiday tunes, then the Soundfreaq Sound Kick Bluetooth Speaker is a great choice.  This speaker is a little large to be truly portable, though it will fit in a backpack or large bag just fine.  It's pretty light and easy to carry too, weighing in at a tad over a pound and a half.  It comes complete with an AC Power Supply and Aux Line-In Cable.

To turn the unit on, you must extend the Xkick chamber, which makes the Sound Kick tilt back at an angle and is supposed to enhance the bass of the speaker.  You can also fold this back in for a more compact design.  It's super easy to pair your Bluetooth device of choice with the Soundfreaq Sound Kick.  Just make sure you're within 30 feet and presto!

I especially loved the included USB port on this speaker, which is designed to act as a charger for any device that allows for USB charging.  So how does it sound?  Overall, I think the Sound Kick sounded great when turned up slightly higher than halfway, around the 60-70% mark.  Too much volume gave a static-y sound and too little made the music sound thin.  If you want to really pump up the volume, then be sure that the UQ3 button is on.  (Personally, I leave this button on all the time!)

Soundfreaq Sound Kick

As for the music you play, I found Christmas carols, soft rock and adult contemporary hits sounded best, for the Soundfreaq Sound Kick seemed to really deliver in the midrange, though the bass didn't thump quite like I had hoped.  I love listening to hip hop and techno music (especially while working out or cleaning the house), but I would have liked to have more richness delivered by the speaker from this type of music.

I still have to say that the Soundfreaq Sound Kick Bluetooth Speaker is a great buy and has many amazing features which will put it in heavy rotation.  If you have a music lover on your shopping list this year, then be sure to put a Soundfreaq Sound Kick under the tree!
