TevaBeing a mom these days requires a lot of fancy footwork!  From running errands to chasing after an active toddler, there never seems to be a dull (or a still) moment in my day.  In order to keep a smile on my face while running to and fro, I need to make sure that my feet are happy and taken care of.  I love being comfortable, but want to have more options available to me other than running shoes and flip flops.

That's where Teva comes in.  Their company creates sports footwear designed to play and to protect.  So now, whether you're running circles at the local park or through the Grand Canyon itself, you can look great and feel great all the while.  Keep reading to learn more!

I reviewed the Women's Alana Ballet Flat in Black from Teva, which retails for $75.00, but is currently on sale for $54.88 with FREE SHIPPING.

I was elated when the Teva Alana Ballet Flat in Black arrived at my door, for I've been needing a change of pace, so to speak, when it comes to my "mom uniform".  I've gotten in the rut of wearing running shoes or flip flops most anywhere I go and those shoes just aren't doing anything for my sense of style.  From the moment I laid eyes on the Alana, I was struck by the balance these shoes had between sporty and stylish.  The ballet flat style of this shoe looks great with capris, jeans or even shorts and definitely looks trendy instead of frumpy.

But what really made me fall in love with the Alana from Teva was all of the sporty accents sprinkled throughout.  For instance, the gray accents around the shoe opening, the gray double stitching and even the two gray laces on top made this one ballet flat that looked as if it were up for anything.  Combine that with the black mesh panels and low-profile outsole and this is one shoe that can stand up to the rigors of motherhood and anything else that comes my way!

The Alana was also very comfortable and fit my feet well, which was honestly a surprise.  I have fairly narrow feet and usually ballet flats like these appear gappy and swallow my foot.  But the Teva ballet flats fit great.  I've already paired these with my favorite jeans and some gray capris and have gotten several compliments thus far.  I love the cushioned soles and cushioning around the shoe's opening, but the right flat does tend to rub my heel just a little.  This is typical though for new shoes and I'm sure that given a little more time, this rubbing will subside.

If you're a woman on the move who would like a pair of comfortable, fashionable flats to help you through your busy day, then I highly recommend the Teva Alana Ballet Flat in Black.  This rugged, well-made footwear keeps my tootsies feeling great while banishing the boring running shoes and flip flops from my wardrobe for good!
