What Do You Think About the New Television Drama in Progress: Untitled Jersey City Project?

This post brought to you by Untitled Jersey City Project. All opinions are 100% mine.

For as long as I can remember, I've been a sucker for a great gangster movie.  There's just something riveting about watching a group of vigilantes operating outside of the law.  Of course as we all know, criminals have laws too, just not the same ones we abide by.  A new television drama which is for now being called, Untitled Jersey City Project, centers around the underbelly of society where everyone has something to gain...and something bigger to lose.  Or, as in any good gangster story, they could always end up dead.

Untitled Jersey City Project is a work-in progress and there have already been eight short-form episodes released.  Basically, here's the overall synopsis of the budding television show:  The story is set on the fast-developing Jersey City waterfront where a new city is being built.  But while the skyscrapers and condos are new, the rules of the game haven't changed one bit.  Sound intriguing?  Then check out the quick Sneak Peak: Untitled Jersey City Project Video below:

Although it's hard to tell exactly what's going on in only 30 seconds of film footage, I thought the new show looked promising.  Because of this, I went ahead and watched part of the first short-form episode and have to admit that I liked what I saw.  Let's just say that within the first few seconds, gun shots were fired and a guy leapt (or was pushed) off of a tall building to his death.  Talk about action-packed!

Do you like gangster movies or television shows like this?  What did you think of the new Untitled Jersey City Project trailer?
