With the back to school shopping season in full swing, I wanted to alert you to a trendy clothing company that I had previously been completely unaware of, called Street Moda.  I typically dress fairly conservatively these days and haven't purchased much from a shop such as Street Moda since my daughter Riley was born.

But once I started browsing the large selection of outerwear, apparel and shoes on the Street Moda site, I was impressed.  They offered plenty of fashionable selections for young people as well as for moms like me.  As a matter of fact, I found some of the coolest wedges I've ever seen there.  Keep reading to see them for yourself!

Street Moda is a cutting edge retailer of authentic brand name footwear, apparel and accessories at prices that can't be beat on the street.  They carry the top junior and street wear brands in the world, such as Ed Hardy, Lacoste, Baby Phat, Coach and Roberto Cavalli.   The company was founded in 2005 by Internet entrepreneur Matt Kubancik, who was 18 at the time.

Matt founded the company because growing up, he always wanted the latest and hottest designer gear but could not afford the exorbitant prices retailers were charging.  Today, streetmoda.com is one of the largest independent footwear and apparel retailers on the web. Staying true to his roots, Kubancik devotes a lot of his energy to giving back. He can often be found giving out shoes to the kids at the local shelter, and also holding fashion show fundraisers for the organization.

As soon as the Joshua Tree Wedge Sandals in Cream arrived on my doorstep, I was amazed!  I thought they were attractive on the Street Moda website, but they were absolutely stunning in person.  These shoes feature an adjustable buckle closure at the ankle strap, a man made upper with studded t-strap, crisscross straps for a super sexy look, man made lining, lightly cushioned man made foot bed, raffia wrapped midsole, 5" wedge heel adorned with studs and intricate bed detail and a rubber sole.

These extremely detailed wedges are a perfect accent to any summer outfit and are the most eye-catching piece of footwear that I've ever owned.  Whether you're wearing a skirt, dress, pair of sassy shorts or your favorite pair of jeans, there's no doubt that you will turn heads while wearing these fabulous wedges!

If you have a tween, teen or college student heading back to school this year and they are interested in finding the hottest street wear fashions at affordable prices, then I highly recommend shopping Street Moda!  Although I may no longer be cool enough to rock Ed Hardy, I guarantee that when it's time for me to find a cute new pair of shoes, Street Moda will be one of the first retailers I frequent.
