Review - eShakti ~ Unique Women's Fashions Which Gives You the "Power" to Customize

eShakti.comI absolutely LOVE shopping for women's clothes, for unlike men's clothing, there is a never-ending variety of styles with every accessory under the sun to match.  But, have you ever found that "almost" perfect dress, top or pair of pants which just needed a slight adjustment to make it truly spectacular?  I know I have plenty of times!

eShakti is an online women's apparel store that actually allows you to make modifications to any of their unique and stylish pieces.  You can easily change the sleeve, neckline and even the length to your exact specifications!  I recently had the chance to review the Dulcimer Print Mock Two-Piece Dress.  Keep reading to learn more about my eShakti experience!

I reviewed the Dulcimer Print Mock Two-Piece Dressfrom, which retails for $59.95. Dulcimer Print Mock Two-Piece DresseShakti is unlike any women's internet clothing store I've ever shopped before.  You see, Shakti means power in Sanskrit.  eShakti therefore means the power of the internet.  They believe that the internet empowers customers and helps companies be more customer-centered.  They offer women's apparel in sizes 0-26W and even offer custom sizing as well.  What's more, unlike most stores I've shopped in the past, they are NEVER SOLD OUT OF ANYTHING!  That's right...eShakti guarantees to ALWAYS have every product and style in every size available.

Of course, what really sets eShakti apart is that they give you the "power" to be a fashion designer by customizing the garments they carry.  eShakti's clothing has a special appeal due to the embellishments they give via print, embroidery and fabric texturing.   It's like designer-wear that is not readily seen in stores.  eShakti also delivers the goods in record speed.  Even custom-made garments ship out to the US and Canada in just three days!

I have to admit that it was extremely difficult to select just one item to review from eShakti, for I liked so many of the original fashions I saw there.  It literally took me over an hour to get through just the dresses they offer!  In the end, I selected the Dulcimer Print Mock Two-Piece Dress, for I loved the retro, yet classy styling of this dress.  It's composed of a cotton print material top, which I thought were musical notes, but were actually many necks of a guitar instead.  The double banded-waist dress was designed with a double scoop neckline and front panel with contrast edge-piped trim. The full stretch cotton satin skirt with inverse pleats at the waist and trapunto stitch outline is color blocked at the hem.

  • Slips on over head; partial side hidden zip closure
  • Sleeveless
  • Center back seam and waist darts to shape
  • On-seam pockets
  • Below the knee length
  • Cotton/spandex, woven satin, light stretch, mid-weight
  • Machine wash
The Dulcimer Print Mock Two-Piece Dress reminds me of something that Lucy Ricardo would wear with pantyhose and tall black pumps, which is exactly the look I was going for.  I thought that this dress looked sophisticated, yet fun, and would be perfect to wear to almost any day event, from a meeting up at school to lunch at a five-star restaurant.  I would have tried my hand at customizing this dress, but honestly loved everything about it, so I figured I'd leave well enough alone!
